Hi Acie,
It's an honor to be one's "idol". idol in the sense that you are imitated in the way you carry yourself, choice of fashion, etc. i will be straight enough to ask why she wants to imitate me or based on my observation it's like she appreciates me much to the point of imitating things that i like and the way that i am hehehehe!

it;s kinda weird but i think i am more weird for helping them our to become me. like i am kikay... i enjoy collecting "anik-aniks", kikay accessories. i tried making and selling these stuff. they patronize my business because they appreciate it when i wear these accesories. almost all my friends are wearing anik aniks and even the type of blouses that i like comfy and wrinkled free. i want to put up a salon and a dress shop with accessories. i want to make people look and feel good about themselves always. this is just a sample but there's more.

I used to get very annoyed when I was a kid if someone started imitate the way I talked and the way I walked. But as the years went by, I became less and less irritated by this and once or twice have even felt flattered. But I guess there will always be a part of me that would prefer if people didn't imitate the way I am _Derek

True, you will definitely feel irritated if imitation goes beyond limits.

For me personally, I would get annoyed. I value my individuality a lot, so I would get annoyed. There was this time I went to this shop to make customized phone accessories, and I had this cool style I came up with and I had them do it. The next time I passed by there, I saw a sample they copied from my design and I was annoyed, but I guess you can't really avoid it. If I had the materials I would have made the design myself, but since I don't I had to go that shop. I'm over it now though LOL!

Annoyance...it is quite a lot if imitation is let loose.

At first, it won't bother me but if ever he/she tries to continuously imitate me then I would get irritated by that person. I'll ask him/her to stop imitating me in a peaceful manner but if he/she didn't stopped from copying what I do or what I have, I will just let him/her, I'm sure he/she will get tired of imitating and copying me.

Hi,
If the imitation is really really exact it is wonderfully amazing and amusing too. Take it easy and you have all the reason to be amused at. There is one more great opportunity! You can correct yourself if you don't like any of the mannerisms about yourself.
Have a good day!

I am flatered sometimes because they imitate me but I am also irritated sometimes especially if I do not like the people who imitates me or some people are teasing me about that imitation.

Hey acie,
being imitated by someone is really annoying but I personally don't mind it coz I know myself and of course looking at the bright side of it, the person who's imitating you might have admired you so much that she can't help but following whatever you do, wearing whatever fashion you're in and probably learning to copy your gestures and expressions. I just hope these imitators know their limits.
Have a nice day!

IT would make me feel uncomfortable at first, but I would get over it because I know who I am. Maybe she feels that you are well grounded and wants to be like you . Still weird since only one person can be you and that's you. Unless it is going to cause you harm I would ignore it and say nothing because it only feeds into this behavior.

I usually imitate someone with the intent to irritate them. i only do this to close friends though and not to the point that everything he has i would have. Just their gestures and quirks but if i can imitate someone and be good at it then it could probably be a career option

i think that is a compliment when someone imitates you. they like something about you and want to be like you.i do find it annoying. why can't they be their own person, right?

I have a teacher who never fails to make me feel like a moron. He purposely puts his students down so he severely intimidates me. At first I just avoided him at all costs, and now I am bitter towards him and angry at myself for letting him intimidate me. Recently I have purposely said hello to him in the hallways and done other things to fight the intimidation and it seems to be helping.

It really gets on my nerves when somebody imitates me
I don't care if it was only supposed to be a joke or you are just having fun, the bottom line is that there is no need to imitate me and it certainly isn't funny, especially for me

hmmm, I really don't know what will I say, if someone imitates me, because I have never seen a person doing it, but if he imitates me on some insulted way, i will probably have a quarrel with that guy and if he doesn't stop then I we will have something more than a quarrel
