I have to say I absolutely love Pampered Chef party's. I am getting ready to host a chocolate pampered chef party getting really excited about it. I am a big chocolate lover as I know a lot of people are. Can't wait to see all 56 new products that have came out.

I've only been to a few Pampered Chef parties. But if I recall correctly, Hostessess tend tend to make things using the products that the sale. Such as the pizza or cookie sheet.. So other than that I really don't have any other suggestions.

Well, Bear, what do people like. I have heard of the little pies in those little crusts. Also there is shrimp, or bites of it. Check online for ideas. Tasty but not too expensive. How about goose pate? Ugh! That is what Fraiser always serves. And there are those little hotdogs in barbecue/or whatever sauce with alittle whiskey in it to give it a bite. I don't know!

Sorry my friend. I don't go to kitchen. My wife is Master in this subject. I just test and comment. If you invite me at your party I could comment on your preparation.

When is the big day? I have quite a few ideas...but, then I also have a very nice cook book written by Thomas Keller. I would be more then happy to share, I am away most of tomorrow and have an early start, but I can post some on Sunday.... I will start quick with one of my favorites though. Bruschetta. I know I know, how boring you are thinking, and that may be the case for some people, but I can never seem to get enough of the yummy stuff. So, get some foccacia bread, and slice it very thin, then use a round cookie cutter to get nice two bite sized pieces. Mix Olive oil and Balsamic vinegar together, 2 oil to one vinegar, and shake very well, then fry the foccacia bread in that, till it is crisp. Let it cool. Get some nice firm roma tomatoes fresh from the vine is best. And some fresh garlic, and pearl onions. Very finely dice the onions and tomatoes, roast and crush the garlic. Mix well. Shred some fresh Basil, and mix it with shredded Parmesan. Spoon the tomato mixture onto the crisps, then top with cheese and basil and broil. But that is just my favorite. There is so much more... I appreciate you.

One of my mom's friends is a Pempered Chef consultant- we hosted a party for her a while ago. When she came over, she did a demo and made the party food using Pampered Chef prodcuts. We provided the ingredients for her, so it was kind of a collaboration I guess you could say, lol. Why don't you ask your consultant about doing something similar? It could help her sell some more stuff, and save you some time. ^-^

Why don't you have a 'Chopped' contest to see who makes the best appetizers? If you haven't seen 'Chopped' on the Food Network, each contestant gets a basket with assorted ingredients. From those main ingredients, plus whatever else is on hand they have to create unique appetizers. From your attendees, by lottery elect who can have a basket. After the 'winners' create their masterpieces, the entries become the appetizers for your party. All attendees must vote for their favorite, with the winner receiving a Pampered Chef item or certificate. Nothing like getting others to do your work, and be happy about it, too.
