A great spagetti recipe is Gound beef (cooked and drained) 2 cans of Delmonte original spagetti sauce 1 can italian tomatoes Chopped onions 1 can of mushrooms (if you like or not if you don't) Simmer these together and pour over hot spagetti noodles Serve with a small salad (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and dressing) and garic bread. If you can't get the fancy bread, just spread butter on regular bread, sprinkle garlic salt on it and brown that one side of the bread in a non stick skillet on top of the stove. Hey... Light some candles :) Good luck. And sweet of you to want to do something nice for your wife!

Why donĀ“t you take her to a favorite restaurant...then you can start learning to cook and surprise her now and then when you have learnt and tested the receipes...she will love your effort anyway I think...

That is so sweet you want to cook for your wife .. lets try something simple say 5 ingredients or less .. Italian Meatball Soup Dinner ( I have made this recipe it is GOOD ) From Linda Larsen, Your Guide to Busy Cooks. FREE Newsletter. Sign Up Now! You can add color and temperature contrast to this five ingredient meal with a few bunches of grapes or strawberries. INGREDIENTS: * 1 lb. frozen fully cooked meatballs * 16 oz. jar marinara sauce * 2-1/2 cups water * 20 oz. pkg. frozen cheese tortellini * 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese * Caesar salad mix PREPARATION: In large pot, combine meatballs, marinara sauce, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, stir in tortellini, and simmer for 10 minutes, until tortellini and meatballs are hot and tender. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Toss salad ingredients together and serve with soup. 4 servings But now of course whats going to be important is what you have on hand ... In the freezer , pantry etc ...and what you shall have to go buy so here is a place to go do some homework as to what you think you might like to try to make for her http://busycooks.about.com/od/fiveingredientsorless/a/500fiveingredie.htm/ Good Luck ...

These Bertoli Frozen Dinners pictured here are VERY yummy!. I know that isn't really cooking, but they will be delicious and she will be happy that you took the time and the thought to do it. http://www.samsclub.com/shopping/navigate.do?catg=5675

Not knowing what kind of food you like makes it hard to answer. If you like pork, then pork chops would be a good choice with a baked potato and open a can of vegetable that you both like. You can buy a microwave brownie mix that is easy to fix, and some whip cream to put on top for desert.

That is really nice of you. Just make something easy, she won't care. Have some flowers for her that would be a nice touch too.

Maybe order in her favourite meal, either it be chinese, indian, mexican whatever just order it in i am sure she will enjoy it and appreciate that effort and you have taken the strain of her having to cook for the evening, maybe light a couple of candles buy her some flowers, or a box of chocolates! i hope it all works out

Here's a quick and easy dinner. Ground beef stuffed manicotti: brown the ground beef season with salt and pepper mix in a 8 oz package of cream cheese until creamy. Stuff the beef mixture in the cooked manicotti shells Spread a cup of spaghetti sauce in a baking dish place the stuffed shells in dish top with more sauce and cheese cook bake in the oven about 30 mins, buy pre made garlic bread, a nice side salad. She will be so proud.

Get a pre-cooked meal, the ones in a package. They are great. Get a nice dessert from a bakery....voila...dinner is served.
