No I don't think that God is angry I think God is just fine! I don't believe that Earthquakes and stuff are God's doing but I think they just happen because they are supposed to happen. I believe that even if there were no people that there would still be floods, earthquakes, and other natural disasters. I do believe in God but I don't think he is the one causing everything bad to happen. I can't give a definite answer on this question because the belief in god in all just faith.

Hi Tushavi. As little as a hundred years ago, some people still felt that a thunderstorm meant that God was angry with the wicket. Of course, most people knew long before that time that such storms were natural occurrences.Everything happening today is the same and I think that people who think that God is angry have the wrong idea about God. Blessings.

Well I believe in a merciful God and not a wrathful God. He may be disappointed at many of our doings but I think putting on Earthquakes are just but natural occurrences that happen here and there and everywhere in the world. If God would like to put an end to this world I truly believe that we won't know it until it is happening in our world already.

I feel that we are creating our own karma as we have free will. If we are to consider God, it is said he is all forgiving, and "God is Love". Love does not get angry, forgiveness does not blame or take revenge. Love just is, it does not interfere. We have our own free will, and the universe will just respond to how we behave. The universe does not see things as right or wrong, there is just consequences to our actions. If we want good consequences, we need to do things that we know are good. But we don't do that, therefore we now have consequences that are not so good. It is the law of karma at work. _Derek

As a Christian I am not sure of the answer to this question... what are Muslims to do if God is angry?

According to Jesus, one of the signs that should be seen in the end of this bad system of things, would be earthquakes, wars, and many other things that would be seen at the same time. Matthew chaper 24
We can see all these things happening now, but he also said that we should be happy. There was something better coming..

I don't believe in this. If God was going to act like this out of anger, doesn't it ovewrite his covenant after Noah's arc, that he would no longer get "directly involved" when something goes wrong? I thought he was there for guidence, but according to this covenant he would not cause disasters anymore when something went wrong.

God has many thinks to do. He(She) has to look after the whole universe. The world
is tiny in comparison to limitless universe. Many stars anmd planets are continuously ruining. But the universe remains. The world will also vanish in natural process. So let the world go to the hell.

GOD is the GOD he never gets angry. But he only make people realize what they are doing, tries to teach them a lesson. These earthquakes, storms, etc are the ways he does it. By doing this he also gives other a chance to do some good acts and for some others he is giving them a chance to be stronger and do acts of bravery.
If you believe in GOD then you are created by him and so he is responsible to make you follow his path.
For others Who don't believe in GOD there are scientific reason behind these events.
have a wonderful day.

They always have a scientific explanation on why these typhoons and other calamities exist now. It is not because god hates us, I belive that god never hates us though we committed so much sins that hurt him. He is still hoping for us to realized what we had done and come back to him. What's happening now is because of the greediness of the people, the nature is just getting back at us for what we had done to them.

I don't think god is angry with whats been going on in the world. What has happened isn't the most ideal I know, but just like everything else the earth is weekening. I think natural disasters are just that natural. With all the elements we have on this earth, its no suprise things happen. I don't feel it right to blame god for everything because he suposedly gave us the ability to think for ourselves.
Because of this, we are responsible for our actions, because we are in complete control of them.

Stuff, no matter how terrible, happens to the good and evil alike. The present disasters may have some manmade elements to them -- shifts in stability due to ice cap melting and so on -- but by and large there have always been natural disasters, and there always will.

no god or higher power of any sort is the cause of the earthquakes and such...They are NATURAL occurances that have gone on since the beginning of time...And Ihave to say that IF it were the doing of god, it would just make me all the more happy that I dont believe because I personally want nothing to do with someone/something sort horrid

God never be angry with any one..we feel it that something is going wrong.God created this universe but humenbeings made some rule to make discipline to mankind. these rules decide what is sin or what is good....but nothing is ordered heavenly got it..! from the scientific view the polulation as well as techology is imroving day by day so we are getting sensations of this polulation and their problems due to media, internet, tv,,etc etc..in real sake the problems of manking are are same and are unsolved as were in ancinet times..

There have always been natural disasters from the day the Earth began. Nothing happens evenly so you are bound to get years when there are more disasters than others - that's just how it is. Now, too, because of the worldwide media we hear about every disaster in all parts of the world whereas there was a time when we might only hear of things happening in our own part of the world. God isn't angry with the world. He might be sad, but not angry. We all know the parts of the world that are prone to earthquakes, for example, so God hasn't suddenly visited a disaster upon Chile - the potential has always been there.

After God created this world, he did not wait here to mend the faults in his creation. Does the one who built your car come to repair it too? No, he expects us to go to a mechanic. If he finds that there are major faults in it, he creates a better model. Mechanics does whatever he can do to keep it running. God too does the same. He handed of his creation to the Mechanic (Satan). He is doing everything within his powers to set the world right. Let me quote Gita here. Didn't Krishna tell Arjuna, “Whenever Dharma is in peril, I am born again?” Christians believes in the word of God. Jesus said He would come again. After he sought forgiveness for our sins, he did not wait. He went away with a promise to come again. God is not angry. Right now, he is busy creating a new world, which will be free from sins, free from earthquakes and storms.
