There are so many nice hair styles out anymore. My daughter had long hair and got hers cut very short and she looked very pretty in the hair style. But as in for me I just get the ends of my hair trimmed. Because my hair is very long. My hair goes to the bottom of my back. I had my hair cut short once and didn't like it.

Maybe ask you hairdresser who will be able to advise you according to face shape etc. Some people suit short hair best, some long hair. I used to have very long hair but now prefer it short-ish because when it gets past a certain length it goes very limp and lifeless because it is so fine.
