Have you ever deleted a friend?

i not only delete friends i delete relatives when i find them offensive. i dont like people like that on my page so since that is my account i do delete people that i dont like to see. i also ignore a few relatives that i am not really close with so i dont need to add them. we can do anything and everything on our own account. as long as we feel that we dont like them go hit that delete button.

I did it once when I decide to clean-up my friends list. I delete people who I don't know and have no friends or mutual friends in common. I do it so I can see only the people I know. I just dont want stranger from posting something on my wall especially if its non sense or I can't relate on it..

I have deleted lots of people off facebook as ther are a few people that were nasty to me about the job that my husband do and they thought that they would have a go at me on my wall on face book as well as try to tell me that he has been sleeping with a girl that was one of his debters,where as i knew that was not true.

Dear bluehibiscus, I had ever deleted someone from my friend list on Facebook, because, I'm afraid if he/she is is bad person.

Well I have been deleting only 1 or 2 friends in the 2 years I am on facebook. It only happened for those I didn't want to know about me, one of them was asking too many personal questions and I then wonder why someone would make such questions so I deleted her, other time was when I regret adding a guy that actually wasn't really my friend in real like so again why to let him know what I do what I talk about with my friends , see my photos and so on. And one more time it happened when I relized I added the wrong person.

i have not deleted any of my friends from my facebook list because i have not found a reason to delete them. if like your case, maybe i also will do the same thing.

Yes, I do. It is because I play some facebook game, which I may add temp friend for it. For example, I will add temp friend for restaurant city, I can get something free in the game for visiting new friend's restaurant. After that, we will delete each other from the friend lists. So, how about others?

Hi Blue, I salute you for standing up to what you believe, and I don't even think you should apologize for deleting him/her. I guess I would do the same if it happened to me. I'm new to facebook, I've signed up just over a month ago. So I'm still building my friends list, haven't deleted any friend yet, but I'm very careful in adding friends. I don't really mind having very few friends there, for as long as I know them personally. I don't readily approve friends request, and I just ignore those that I don't really know.

it depends if i hate that friend, like if she did something that will hurt my feelings then i will surely delete her in my list. or block her so she can no longer participate any of my discussion in facebook with my other friends. sometimes if dont like the person only because i feel too, i also delete them. i dont know, then i added them again if i feel too. if they will ask why i add them again, i just simply say i accidentally deleted them

So far, I haven't deleted a friend on facebook. It's because I choose them carefully, when someone I don't know or we don't have any mutual friends, I usually ignore their friend request. I only accept those I know. Facebook is really an open book, and I want my page to be only be viewed by the people I know coz I post some personal stuff and my own thoughts and not comfortable sharing it to a stranger.

There was one time when i was like so angry with the attitude with one of my friends on Facebook. Her shoutouts were so annoying and sometimes picks on someone. Until one day when i was already fed up with her attitude and decided to delete her. Before doing so, i felt guilty since she hadn't done anything wrong to me, aside from the fact that i hate her shoutouts. So, instead of deleting her, i sent her a message saying that she be more careful of anything she's writing. From then on, her shoutouts were not that harsh anymore.

Yes, I deleted a friend in facebook but my reason is because he is my ex and I don't want to have any communication with him.

I haven't deleted anyone...yet. But I might/would under certain circumstances. I have not accepted some people who've sent friend requests, though. In other words, I've chosen not to be friends...

ya one day i did that bcz i was veru angry thata day bcz of my frnds behaviour so i deleted him but nxt day i add him......so never delet a frnd.....they r so imp 4 u....its true...

Good for you for sticking up for what you believe in and letting your friend know that you don't approve of what they posted. I've also had to delete people from my friends list on Facebook. They were people I worked with, and there was a conflict at work and these people started sending me nasty messages. I deleted them, and I also quit the job since upper management was doing absolutely nothing to resolve the conflict. Sometimes it's just necessary.
