I keep finding my weight yo yos quite a lot. I usually get to 9 stone 6 pounds and then put the weight back on! I think I get bored with the dieting/exercise and dont try as hard. Im back up to 9 stone 12 now and I really wanna get down to 9 stone. Anyone else have this problem?

I am in the process of dieting right now. I have lost some weight, but I am certain once I stop dieting, I will likey gain the weight back. I am going to try to lose a little more weight then I want to this time, and then if I gain a couple of pounds back it will not be that big of a deal. It seems like so much work to take weight off, and so easy to put it back on. Not really fair if you ask me.

My advice is not to "diet" Just eat healthy and exercise. Make it more of a lifestyle chnage rather than eating less etc in order to lose weight. The problem when you follow a specific diet such as atkins etc is that when you start to eat properly the weight will go back on. Im following a plan that does not limit any food groups but more of the timing of them. Eg. carbs on morning and for lunch but avoid them on an evening.

Select an exercise pattern to suit your life style. All of us have different life styles and professions so there is no sense in trying to follow the book strictly. Try and follow an exercise routine that is suitable for you. You have to understand that even more important than the exercise it is sticking to it. So unless you choose something that can suit your life style, you are not going to stick on to it.

Ya I know I do. A lot of the problem is fluid and the weight your body holds for it. I know some days I will be around 235 but if I drink a lot of fluids I could be up to 242 or so. Plus like you I get bored with working out. The answer to that is get a work out partner. I know in the past I liked working out a lot more when I had someone to push me. Plus due to an injury I have been out of work for a while so that doesn't help me any either.
