i was a trainee for citizen's army training in high school when i was first betrayed. one of the trainees, a member of my peer group and a classmate since freshman, had his eye fixed on the top position, the corps commander. we're all trainees in the group and everyone is doing his best to finish the course.a month before our training graduation, i was called in by one of the top officers and interrogated me on some stories made up by this co-trainee. because i said those were lies, i was subjected to physical punishments for a week to extract the truth while investigations are ongoing. when i had been cleared, i was told from whom the stories came. afterwards, i discovered that i was his top competitor for the position. well, he got what he wants but it marred the relationship we had. i never trusted him from that time on. i realized that it's not the time that matters in knowing a person, it's the situations you'll be in that will test the relationship. the experience made me very careful in choosing people to trust.
how about you? what's your betrayal story? how did it affect you?

definitely yes, do know who is? Is my Bestfriend. SHe betrayed me, in our project. Hard to say, but he always compete with me in every aspect of academics. That why I really dont like girls to be my bestfriend. Because I know at the back they will try to destroy me.

it was for a job interview for a certain company.
what happened was before we were called in for a panel interview i started chatting with this lady beside me to waste the time. we were really enjoying talking and was mentioning problems we encountered during the application process and with our previous jobs when we I found out that she was in my group for the panel interview.
When the question of "Why should we hire you instead of the other applicants?" came up, she used what we previously talked about to her advantage. It was after that incident where I vowed never to reveal too much information when chatting for job applications and to actively listen for stuff that other people might say which I might use.
