USE DOVE- HAIRFALL THERAPY and that too as early as possible because time and hair once lost don't come back. BEWARE!

As a bio informatician i would like to tell the reasons for the problem so that you can find the solution by yourself.
1. genetic reasons: did your family member face the same problem. if yes contact doctor immediately.
2. enviromental factors: water quality and place where you live like hill area.
3. ignorance: not providing essential supplements to hair like hair oil, dieting not taking proper diet.

My hair began falling out in chunks to the point I was bald all around my scalp. I only had a little hair left on the top of my head. I was under a lot of stress and that was the reason the doctor said it was falling out. I went to a scalp specialist and he said there is nothing to keep the hair from falling out; you can only treat it with minoxidil to help it grow back. Also they put shots in my head to help stimulate growth. I quit the treatments because if nothing could just make it stop falling out then why pay the money for the treatments. I finally was able to reduce the stress in my life, but even now if I get stressed I do start losing much smaller patches of hair.
However, you may have a hormonal problem or some other thing going on. Go to the doctor. Be sure you are not sick.

I neglected to mention that I started washing my hair every other day. If I could go longer I would but it is too oily and gives a homeless and very dirty look by the 2nd night. If I wash it every day it falls out more. Only shampoo once--there is no need to shampoo 2x.

Dear friend,
If the hair fall is too high I hope it might be due to vitamins. The simple thing is not to use any chemicals on hair. Moreover use natural hair oils with purity. Another best Ayurvedic medicine for hair fall is "Healol" it is good and effective, it makes head cool too. Try it I guarantee if the hair fall is not due to any other serious problems then this oil is sure to cure it.

Sad to hear that but is that hereditary? meaning any members of the family that is bald or also suffering the same thing? Anyway, there are many things to consider why people have hair fall or hair loss. It can be a cause of genetics, it can be a cause of strong chemical ingredient on hair shampoos or conditioners or hair products that you apply on your hair.
It can also mean that your hormone is also imbalance. Or if you are taking some medications that can cause your hair to fall. I recommend you seek doctors advice with regards to this specially if you think that too much hair is losing for a day.
If not that bad yet then try to use Tiens Zinc and Tiens hypotension apparatus because these two are good for your hair. Tiens zinc is all natural and has no side effects. The apparatus is a comb like gadget that you use to help solve your hair fall. If you have more questions just ask me here or pm me. Happy Mylotting.

I think you need to change your shampoo because your hair damaged in your present shampoo.the other thing i will consider is your family history. You will used aloe vera plant as shampoo because it can help you to grow your hair again.

siliguri,
I hope that you will consider consulting a hair specialist and a dermatologist for your current hair loss problem. There's just no reward trying to second guess with part time "doctors" here.
However, I will just add a few observations for your consideration and probably arrest some faults along the way. For starters, you may want to start checking what you are using for your hair. Now, studies have revealed that a large number of hair loss victims are usually using wrong hair care products like strong anti-dandruff shampoos. If you do not have a dandruff problem using such kind of shampoos will just damage your scalp and hair.
The 2-in-1 shampoos where shampoo makers nowadays are very popularly marketing shampoos with conditioners already mixed in. Now, if your scalp is sensitive then such shampoos will just add more stress to your already sensitive scalp. So, if you can help it change it into dedicated shampoo and conditioner standalone separately from now onwards.
Then, there is your diet. Are you having too much Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) or taste enhancers in your food? Is your diet leaning towards food with much preservatives in them i.e. instant noodles, instant soups? This is also another culprit for hair loss.
Stress is also another factor and when it is being added with poor dieting habits and inappropriate use of hair products will just be catastrophic for you. I hope that what I have mentioned will be of help and do seek the help of a professional at your soonest possible convenience. Delaying here is just not a good option and advocate.

You may want to have your physician check your thyroid function. My doc checks mine regularly because thyroid function can cause hair loss, among other issues.

hie, i think the first thing you should do is to see a specialist ( maybe a skin specialist or is there a hair medical specialist ) either in a government hospital or a private hospital or a clinic. he will do a series of blood tests on you to see whether hormone is creating havoc to the scalp and hair. he will then determine through a series of blood tests whether is male balding/ female baulding or neither. plus some more, which i dont know. some may even conduct urine test. its better to get to the root cause to the problem. i hope you get the right help. ask your doctor.

Hi siliguri!
I've faced the same dilemma a few months ago, and I was only 20 by then. Are you fond of using the computer or watching TV for hours? A few months ago, my life revolved around using the computer for at least 15 hours a day, and I noticed that my hair started to fall off. I thought it was normal at first, but every time I brushed my hair, there were about 10-15 strands that went along with my comb or brush. My mom and dad were alarmed. I tried using shampoos, but they didn't work. So they had to cut my time in front of the computer or any other gadgets that emitted radiation in big amounts. Even small gadgets that have small radiation "rays", but you are exposed to it a long time, may also be a cause.
This is what I've experienced. I'm don't know if we have the same though, but just adding to what the others have already said

hi siliguri! we are on the same boat! My hair is thick and my other relatives too... but right after I gave birthn to my first son, hair hair started to fall... And it continues up to now... I see falling hair on my pillow, on the floor and more inside the bathroom...
Glad that my hair is thick, but if this thing continues... surely it would cause so much problem... I will keep an eye with this discussion and see what other mylotters would says...
By the way, I have tried several commercial shampoos that promises to control hair falling but did not see any improvement...

Personally, I'd go see a doctor. There could be many reasons your hair is falling out; reaction to prescriptions you may be taking, lack of specific nutrients, etc. If nothing else, he/she may be able to recommend a product/nutients/prescription. My Mom was complaining her hair was falling out. Her doctor recommended Rogaine...it's not just for men.
