We do admire people especially if for some reason they touches our lives. For me, I started to admire Jim Stovall after reading his book and watching a movie based on it. He enjoyed success as an author, athlete, and entrepreneur while dealing with his own blindness as his main challenge.

I admire Swami Vivekananda,a saint and follower of Maa Kali, for representing our religion Hindu before the world at the religious conference at Chicago. He addressed the speech by say "Dear Americans,my brothers and sisters...." which was most acclaimed and applauded speech among the mass of presenters. It was needed at the time of Independence,I'd say being an Indian and a Hindu.Perhaps he was the one who was against all violence more than Gandhi because his only focus was to help the needy and distressed.

This is an odd one for agirl I guess but mine is Kelly Brook. She is an actress/tv presenter/model. I adnire her because she gets a lot of criticism. People say she only has her looks going for her but I disgaree. She is always pleasant and I think she is good at presenting. She maybe is a better model but so what? What I admire about her though is that she never complains. She just gets on with it. You never hear a "woe is me" tale to the newspapers etc. She also has a successful swimsuit and perfume line so I think it is good how she is branching out from the modelling side into a more creative side.
