I remember the days of telovision when the youngest had to get up and turn the channel even though there was only 5 channels! I remember watching Flinstones, Giligans Island! All of those shows were awesome in the old days and still are! I also watched Bewitched and Popeye! I wondered if any of the middle to older aged MyLotters remember any of these shows? If so is there any other ones besides these you can think of? Help refresh my memory I would love to know! Happy MyLotting!

After watching for so long, I was encouraged to eat vegetables. and spinach is still my favorite vegetables. later i found out that aside from its vitamins content, it also is rich in calcium

Popeye will take spinach when he became weak. This really helped me a lot. I like to eat beef burger. But I learned later that too much beef is not good to our health. Our stomach need fiber from vegetables to clean our digestive system

Yes I also remember the ones you just mentioned, especially Flinstones! I never did watch many of those Japanese shows that came on because I did not liek them very much! Popeye was also great! It was always funny to watch some of these shows, they were so dumb sometimes that it was funny! Thanks for posting!

It is crazy how these shows used to be prime time like you said and now they come on in the wee hours of the morning on channels hardly known to exist! TV Land still has lots of them so I will watch that channel sometimes! I also remember Roy Rogers! So many of these shows are great and I will always watch them rather it be on TV or on tape! Thanks for posting! Happy MyLotting!

I am old enough to remember all of those. I also remember the Howdy Doody Show, and then after that, Captain Kangaroo. He was probably the best children's television personality there ever was. I liked the Jetsons, as well.

I remember Flintstones. I remember, as I got older, thinking that the show was pretty sexist and racist. I always liked the Jetsons better myself. I am a bit younger than you, I think. Sesame Street (I still like Elmo) The Price is Right with Bob Barker as host, Teddy Ruxpin, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, Full House

Yeah the Flinstones were okay, but now that I think about it the Jetsons were probably better! Also yes you are a bit younger then I am, by 20 years!!! Thats all! Always have liked the Price is Right but now it has Jim Carey and I actually am not sure which one I like better. Full House is good to! Thanks for posting! Happy MyLotting! I remember all those shows you mentioned. I watched them when I was younger. I also watched Barney (not by choice - LOL!), Sesame Street, Rugrats, Nickelodeon, Aladdin (the TV show and movies), Beethoven (the animated series), Schoolhouse Rock, Bump in the Night, and I'm sure there are more, but I just can't remember all of them! I watched a lot of TV when I was younger. If I remember more, I'll add them on. Thanks for posting!

Hi, when I was a child, I only have three channels, and my favorite was cartoon, and the cartoon started at 17:00, and end at 18:00, so I only have a hour to watch my favorite shows everyday, and when I was a child, I sleep early at night, so didn't watch a lot of TV shows.

In the beginning just like you we only had 3 channels! Channel 5, 8, 11! Cartoons always were the funniest and the best in my mind! It was called Slam Bang Theater. and it was a local thing on channel 11! Wow... only an hour to watch cartoons, that doesn't seem like very much time! Thanks for posting! Happy MyLotting!

When I was a child, I used to watch cartoons for the main part. I was not big on those shows like Barney or Elmo. I enjoyed watching Rocket Power, CatDog, The Rugbys, Spongebob, etc. I still occasionally watch these shows for a few laughs and entertainment.

I do remember the old shows that they used to have on the T.V. I liked to watch the old Disney cartoons and even the old Looney Tunes cartoon. Now if I ever want to watch the old shows I would have to subscribe to a channel dedicated to those old shows. But they do bring back good memories for me.

We used to watch Knight Rider and Thunder Cats a lot! Kids at school would form their own groups and name them by the characters and even try to play out the episodes (hmm, not a very good idea though!). I also liked Voltron. Then there were Fall Guy and MacGuyver. Once in a while I grab an old episode of MacGuyver and watch. It doesn't feel the same way as before, but I still love them!

Hi there, when i was a child, I used to watch those shows as well. Together with sesame street and tom and jerry. those were my favorite shows before. I still like s\tom and jerry until now though. Most of the times my parents will just play some cartoons for us and we watch them nonstop. Like Disney's Princess cartoons, popeye, Treasure Island and a lot of sorts of cartoons, we were still using BETA MAX and not even VHS, lol just thinking about it now makes me feel really old. I think we still have those tapes. Oh those were great days.
