Do you iron all clothes at once or iron each day as you wear it?

Hello friends!Ironing is a chore that I'm not really good at and I don't feel like doing. It's not that I'm lazy(smiles) because I could do other chores efficiently. But even if I'm not into this chores,I have no choice but to iron my clothes before I could wear them. And in my case,I iron the clothes which I wear on that day.I just can't take ironing all my clothes at once. Some of my friends though and most of them iron clothes all together in one setting.I admire their patience and expertise at this.I wonder if you friends here do the ironing altogether or take it at a time?Let me hear from you please(smiles).

I tend to iron my clothes the day I need to wear them. I don't really see the point in ironing all my clothes in one sitting because I don't even know if I'll wear them within that month. I do hang most of my clothes up though, so that when I do need to wear them, it doesn't take long to iron out the few wrinkles. I do tend to iron while I'm still waking up, so I'm also watching tv or listening to music to get me going. It helps me wake up because I'm focusing on not burning myself and it's just more efficient to iron one outfit rather than many.

If I iron my clothes for work, I usually do it all in one sitting. I feel like its a waste of time to whip out the iron, fill it up with water, set up the stand and wait for it to warm up any more than necessary. I too listen to music or put on a sports game on tv while I do it so it is not so painful to do everytime. I recently bought some pants and had the option to get a 'rino' crease - something that keeps it creased for the whole life of the pants. At only $5, I jumped on the deal. Worked great and I never have to worry about those pants looking shabby!

I tried to iron a weeks worth of clothes in one sitting only one time. I hung them up and didn't mash them together in the closet. The first two days were fine, but the rest of the week, I had to re-iron every outfit. They just didn't seem as crisp as when their first ironed.
Creased for life pants for only $5 is a very good deal! I'd never iron again (well pants anyway).

No,I just iron clothes if its really necessary.I used to hang clothes every after washing and it is my one way of conserving electricity.I can wear clothes without ironing it,as long as you wash and hang it properly.Have a nice day.

when i was still studying, i tend to iron them at once during sunday so theres no need for me to just iron them the next day and my sister told me that it also save electricity. but now, i since most of my clothes need not to iron coz i sent them to laundry they already iron the clothes so theres no need for me to iron it.

If you want me to tell you the truth then I have to admit that I do not iron at all. I'm not lazt either, but it's something I do not like to do and I believe that if you hang your clothes to dry properly, then there's harldy any creases anyway...well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. LOL!

I hate ironing!
I buy clothes that does not wrinkle much so that I don't have to iron them.

That is good advice, actually! I try to do that too, but sometimes I forget, and that's why I have some stuff that need to be ironed anyway (even though I have been trying to avoid that). There are actually a lot of fabrics that do not wrinkle, people are just not aware of that!

Well, I iron clothes all at once since I think it saves more electricity and time. at least I don't have to have to iron clothes again the next morning. About the patience, I sometimes watch TV while ironing the clothes so I won't be bored an sometimes listen to radio.

an iron what's that??? i try not to iron unless i really have to, like get a pile of shirts up before dong it. making it more worth while on turning the iron on. other wise if it's my riding shirt i take it my mum and get her to do it for me then the job is done better.

Hi friend, am so so lazy that even when i have to wash for myself it takes me so long to make up my mind which day it's going to be and as the day gets close i keep on changing to the next and next....ironing, i don't hate it but will iron daily as i choose which cloth to wear the following day, it's a stressful chore.

I usually iron what I will wear the same day, in the morning. Partly because I am a bit lazy, and think it is way too annoying to iron a big batch of clothes at once, and partly because I have very limited storage so if I iron stuff in advance, they might just get wrinkled again before I use them!

Hi dragonangel I think you have better ironing skills more than mine. I prefer to let my other half does it for me since if I had to do it myself I would end up in a mess. To be honest I never tried to learn since when I asked my mother she offered to do the job herself. My wife prefers to iron the clothes that need to be worn on that day. She does not like to sped a lot of hours irorning.

hello dragonangel!
Well I am also a person who does not really know nor enjoy ironing. I have only tried it once or twice and if it doesn't bore me then I just don't want to do it. I want to get that dryer ball that you see on t.v., it's supposed to work just as efficiently.

I don't do ironing, my mother does. I know that she prefers to iron them all at once, so she will be done with this task at once. Her every day schedule is quite tight, she has so much to do, so I can't imagine her ironing some clothes before wearing every morning.

i don't iron my clothes. Most of my clothes that I wear are wrinkle free material where when they come out of the dryer they are like new anyways. I guess that is the beauty of the clothing that I like to wear tho. I travel a lot during the summer time and in the spring mini vacations and to friends houses and it's hard to remember to bring the iron. So I get clothes that if I travel in a suitcase or travel with a duffel bag they really don't wrinkle so there for I do not have to iron.
on a funnier note i used to know someone that would iron her underware and her bras.

Once in a blue moon, I find myself ironing my whole family's clothes simply because I get tired of seeing them wearing the same clothes again and again lol. I dig on to the huge piles of unironed clothes we have and try to iron the most important ones, if not all of them. Most of the time, I just choose my own clothes because it's really hard to find time to do all the ironing. Dont get me wrong, I love ironing but I am just too slow and I am afraid of wasting too much energy and knowing that my mom would pay more on electricity because of me.

Ironing uniform, I iron it all at once. It's tiresome doing the ironing. But during special occasions or plain clothes when I go out, I don't iron them after laundry. I iron them only when I use it or wear it.
