When the lights go out

so last night when i was on the computer it was about the time most of the house goes to sleep, but when my lady's grandma came up to sleep the lights went out in the upstairs.
so i ventured down to the end of the hall near my room and that light did not work either, but my computer was still on so i knew that it was just a circuit in that area of the house that did not work.
so i borrowed the flashlight and went downstairs where the lights were still working fine and where my lady was at.
I asked her where the power box was so that i could check the circuit and she is having a fit overreacting for no reason yelling at me and telling me just let it wait till tomorrow.
Its not that it is a hard thing to fix, but i didn't know where the power box was at and you have to go down these wooden steps which are to say the least not the safest in the world, but i am the best at going down those steps, but i have never had to go find the power box down there before so i did not know where to look for it.
I had only gone done to do laundry before, so anyway my lady is still yelling at me for no reason and making it harder to concentrate on finding the box so after looking the first time i come back up and ask her if its down there and she yells at me I DON'T KNOW!.
I went back down there the ceiling is really low and i'm decently tall so i have to kind of hunch down a little, but i finally find it over in the corner and flip the switch over to reset it and her grandma was grateful that i did that, but i just don't understand why my lady was making a big deal out of it.
Its an easy thing to do you just have to flip a switch.
Has anyone else had something like this happen?
Have someone overreact about something as simple as this is to fix?

No and you are a better person than I. The Moment she started yelling , I would have just walked away and left the house until morning! I don't except people yelling at me . and I have a hair trigger and very devious temper so the best thing for me to do i walk away, Far away. That way no one winds up in the hospital. So to answer your question I haven't had anyone overreact. If they did, I wouldn't be there to witness it.

I think that i am just one of those people who thanks to my father has the ability to remain calm when something like that happens where others like my lady will tend to panic and overreact and most of the time you just have to ignore it and focus on what you are doing as i didn't know where the power box was, and once i found it i was able to fix it with no problem and i told her that she was being a little silly about the whole thing.

She is having some problems and she sometimes doesn't behave in the best manner, which is not an excuse, but he knows what the problem is.

I've had circuits trip before, and it is usually when I forget that the space heater is running and turn the microwave on. I know where mine is, since I have lived her for almost 14 years, so that isn't the problem. I try to be more concious of the microwave use when I have the space heater on and will turn it off so not to trip the circuit.
Sounds like your lady was more interested in just sleeping.

actually she was downstairs when it happened so she was in a room that still had all of the lights the only problem for me was i didn't know where the power box was and once i found it, it was an easy fix
I think that it tripped when her grandma turned on her bedroom light then all was dark in the computer room and the rest of the upstairs, but my computer was still on so not a total loss :-)
I was able to fix it quite easily once i was able to find the box and hunch down over to it sometimes its not so great to be tall.

You do know why she was acting like that. The same reason she acts like that at other times about other things.
It may be time for an intervention.
