I lose nights of sleep, because I have alot of things that are causing me stress and worry.I just lay in bed tossing and turning.I feel tired but just can't fall asleep.Everytime I have my mind going it keeps me awake.Do you have trouble with sleep when you're worried?

its common in most people that worry disturbs sleep...we just go on thinking of the worries n tht tension keeps us awake or half-sleep...so its better to divert our mind onto something else before going to sleep

I think no matter how strong my worry is if I get the full strength of sleep burying me alive I sleep soon. I do that by staying awake until I come at that critical point that I could no longer open my eyes. By doing it I don't have to be bothered with squirming around on bed for the difficulty of sleeping.

Yes I do. Most nights I either can't sleep because I'm worried over things and troubles or just too excited to do something for tomorrow. The mind is a very powerful thing, as it proves. It can keep one awake all night long, and all through dawn. I think my worst worried sleepless night occurred when I was in deep financial as well as academic problems. I hadn't have sleeps for nights, I did catch some naps but the longest was just probably an hour or not more than two. I pray I won't be in that situation ever again.

I don't usually lay awake worrying. When I am upset or concerned about something, I do my best to solve the problem and if I can't, I ask God to take care of it for me or give me an idea of what to do. That way I don't have to worry about it anymore. And it is usually quickly resolved!

thats what im experiencing right now since i have a trouble mind. so if i go to bed im just lying there and took me like 2 hours before i can sleep as i keep on thinking with so many things. thats why sometimes im still here in mylot trying to be busy so my mind will get tired and so if im tired it will be easy for me to sleep.

I am scared that it might happen, but it never happened. Instea when I am worried I sleep like a baby and then feel better and start to think how to resolve my problems. I have a very still sleep and it is even difficult to wake me up. My girlfriend jokes that even a bomb cannot wake me up. but that is just me and I think my case is not so common. Hardly I can be bothered during sleep - it is almost impossible to annoy me just by making noise!!!

Yes, happens lots of times. You just keep trying to keep your thoughts out, but the more you try, the more they get stronger and stronger and stronger.. and you lose your sleep :P A word of advice: try not getting too much excited before going to bed, it'll surely help going to bed with a little need for sleep. You can achieve that by not watching tv moments before going to bed, or not using your computer either; monitor's strong light surely doesn't help. A good way to get some sleep is to read a book: keep the thoughts away and relaxes, without exciting the mind.
