I personally love to shop online from the comfort of my living room because I don't like crowds and don't currently have a car to go shop hopping to get everything I need. I do the grocery shopping on my bike then all the rest of my shopping on Amazon.com and CustomizedGirl.com and very rarely, I will shop online at Biglots.com, Walmart.com, or Target.com.
Amazon.com is my favorite online store. I've gotten everything from bedding to food to gardening supplies to appliances to movies and music to furniture to cloths and much more, all on Amazon.com.
Do you like to shop online or in an actual store with a physical address?
If you like to shop online, which website(s) do you use and why?
What do you buy there and what kind of variety of products do they offer?
If you prefer shopping at an actual store, what stores do you go to for food, appliances, gardening supplies, etc?
Do you have to have a membership for these stores or no?
What do they offer in terms of products at your fav stores and what are their price ranges?

Alot of people shop online. They say they are able to get a lot of bargin prices. For me personally I like to go to the physical store. That way I can try on the merchandise and see how it fits on me or if it fits and how it looks. By ordering online you are really taking a chance on the merchandise, you can not try it on until it arrives, then it maynot fit and you have to send it back. Then you have to pay shipping to send it back. Then you may not get what they advetise. the material maybe different. There is just so much you have to take into consideration while shopping online.

That is why I do not generally get clothes online. I will possibly get shoes because I know the style and size I wear and I have worn the same size and style for about ten years.

With Amazon.com, the merchant pays for the return shipping.

I love shopping online. Because I get better deals online. And plus you could do it all online with out having to leave you house, being able to shop online in the middle of the night is great.

Lately I have bought several things at a Libris. It is a website where you can buy used books, especially out of print books. I have lots of readers on my gift list who tend to like books that are no longer available. It is a lot of fun. I do not have a Petco in my town and I can get my flea prevention medicines for my cats there. I have shopped at Amazon once, but they could not get the item I wanted after I had ordered it through their site. I will probably order some new workshoes online because I know what size and style I like the best. I am not sure which website I will use though. I prefer to use sites that accept Pay Pal, as I accumulate money there pretty steadily. I also go to stores through a website that gives me points for every dollar I spend in member stores. I accumulate those points and get gift cards to use or give as gifts. Oh, Yeah, on Wednesday or Thursday I should be getting new RAM for my computer from Tiger Direct. I got two points apiece for each dollar I spent.I like shopping online because I do not have to drive 30 minutes or an hour to shop and risk the products not being in stock.

hi sherrypeck I love to shop at LandsEnd and Lane bryant. as for prices LandsEnd are about the same as the better stores and their stuff is so well made its worth paying a little more. Lane Bryant caters to us bigger women and I shop their sales as their prices are a tad higher than I like but all big womens clothing stores overcharge us way too much. I love on line shopping and often buy beanie babys at tye.com and they are all really reasonably priced. I have gone to ebay a few times but the shipping often costs more than the items I have bought taking all the money I saved on the items clear away with the cost of shipping. I did not know I could shop Walmart.com,I like their clothes.

I love to shop online, and would say at least 75% of it is done online. No crowds, no walking around all day to find what I want, no kids to distract me. I love it~

I like shopping online for the points I get from a couple of programs I belong to. It is fun waiting for the package to arrive.
I like shopping in a physical store too. Usually oddlots, walmart (though i hate their policies I still have to shop there) Where ever there is a bargain I will go.
I am anticipating spring so I can order some rose bushes and other flowers online.
Happy shopping, and happy mylotting!

Well, shopping online is quite easily becoming the Fast thing to do, and sometimes one of the easiest things to do. In a lot of ways, it can be one of the easiest ways to comparison shop and a lot of times get the Best deals as well. Only thing is you need to watch the shipping as that can sometimes add up to no real savings for you for sure. But I am known to do a little bit of both depending on my mood so the both to me have some great benefits for sure.

The only real drawback I know of in shopping online is that you can't try things on and you can't actually pick something up and look at it. Also the colors might vary between their computer and yours. I didn't know that Amazon dealt in that many different things...I thought they just did movies and books. Now I'll have to go and check them out more.
Since I don't drive, shopping online would be easier. Right now I usually go with my Mom when she goes shopping and we usually go to the local grocery store and Dollar General. I don't mind going to our local Walmart but no one else likes to go...so I rarely get to.

So far I will only ship online for things that I have already brought and used. For new products I like to see them in person. I hate to have to return anything in the mail.

I have shopped online a few times mainly on EBay and other places. The last thing I bought was a pair of motorcycle boots for my husband; they were imported European boots and I got them for a quarter of the price I had seen at the store! I like to find bargains online but I still like to physically walk into a store and take a proper look at what I am going to buy. I enjoy shopping when I’m in the mood; in fact I think I enjoy it a little too much! Online I’ve used EBay, Oztion and Amazon. I usually buy books online especially Italian books for my mother although Target and Kmart do offer books at very good prices in Australia.

I've done online shopping mostly on Amazon and at Barnes&Noble site. I do enjoy the ability to stay at home and not face the crowds. Unfortunately leaving the house or work place to the store can't be fully replaced. At least just yet. When there is a way that one can virtually try on clothing from online before buying them and stores close by enough that you can order food items online too and have them delivered to your house. then I will probably never go to a physical store unless I'm just in the mood to get out for a bit.

For a majority of things I need such as food, soaps, and little odds and ends like that, I perfer to go to the actual store. Prices are usulally cheeper and i don't have to pay shipping costs plus the waiting for the things I need. Waiting isn't easy for me. But, I shop online for things it doesn't matter waiting for such as the pets medicine, odds and ends i can wait for.

I seriously prefer to buy online, I really hate to go for shopping, I hate spend the whole day in a mall looking for something, make huge lines, have to accommodate myself to the schedules of the mall, when I buy online I can do it at 3pm like at 3am. The only down side is that most of the time you have to pay for shipping, but even with that I prefer to buy online.

I prefer shopping in an actual store because the sad thing about buying online is that you really have to read carefully what is being sold. Like my friend, for example, bought a Nintendo game with box for half the price. When he got the merchandise, he was very dismayed because all he got was the box and no Nintendo. When he read the fine print, he discovered that he was the sold the box ONLY and not the content. He wanted a refund but it was not available. You better read the fine prints when buying online. Watch out!

i prefer to shop at the store... i am the kind of person who like to see and touch the item first before i am willing to spend my money on any item... the only thing that i will purchase online is airline tickets and vouchers... i'm just afraid that i will get disappointed if the goods arrived not according to my expectation... take care and have a nice day...

I like that online stores generally have a greater range of products, but for things like clothes and food, I like to shop in stores. I like the experience and I like to actually see what I'm getting.

In answer to your questions:
Do you like to shop online or in an actual store with a physical address?
I prefer shopping on line because I can do it at my convenience, and the selection is wider.
If you like to shop online, which website(s) do you use and why?
I am a member of a number of points programs. Airmiles.ca Aeroplan.com, mypoints.com, swagbucks.com all of which have affiliate programs where I can earn points by shopping stores advertized on their sites. If I can find it there I will.
What do you buy there and what kind of variety of products do they offer?
Just about everything! Last thing I bought were some flowers from ftd.com which I ordered by going in through MyPoints.
If you prefer shopping at an actual store, what stores do you go to for food, appliances, gardening supplies, etc?
Zellers Department store, a store here in Canada that has just about everything, and awards points.
Do you have to have a membership for these stores or no?
Definitely!
What do they offer in terms of products at your fav stores and what are their price ranges?
All kinds of great stuff, very low prices.

I will prefer to shop at a store as compared to online shopping.. hehe ^_^ even though online shopping is much more convenient, but it's too much of a hassle as well, especially when waiting and aranging of delivery.. hehe ^_^
And some ple do buy things on impulse, thus they dun have the patience to wait.. However it can be a good thing too, so that one is able to control their urge to anyhow buy.. lol =D

I do some shopping online but mostly at Christmas time. I don't mind shopping in a real physical store but I would love to order groceries online. I would pay for delivery, too. This would be especially great in the winter--I don't like to drive in the snow, not because I'm afraid of it but because of all the other nutty drivers who refuse to slow down and be cautious.

i prefer go shopping in the physical stores.but sometimes i don't have time to go aside for shopping,i will buy things online.the things online are always cheaper than those in the physical stores.i think the reason is that they must pay the rent of house.so the price may be higher.and i can't know the details of goods and whether the quatity of goods is good or not.that's why i always choose the physical stores.
