Do you feel annoyed when your fingernails grow too long??

well i am lazy too hehe, but i actually feel better after i clip them off, i play guitar and it feels so right after i cut my nails, well i don't grow them very long but yeah it really becomes a little troublesome while playing the guitar, they hurt. whoa i don't know how would it be if they were not there. it could actually be convenient for lazy people like us lol!

My fingernails seems to be growing fast and it pisses me off. In a week or two, I have to trim it myself because I'm having hard time pushing buttons on my cell also when typing on a keyboard.

Hi GreenGiant, My nails grow quite fast too. However, I am not really that much bothered or annoyed. And yea, I get lazy too and sometimes I drag on for long before I go cut them. :)

Dude, this is why I love MyLot: You can see almost every question here. Personally, I hate to see my fingernails grow too long, or long. And I hate to see it if they were men fingernails. I guess my definition of real men is having short fingernails.

i wouldn't be annoyed for something like that, it would be stupid, i think. cuz is something that you can fix just by cutting them ;D

Well, I clip my fingernails from time to time and I don't really find them annoying once clipped them. What I find very annoying is when my fingernails are long enough to let dirt get in. I find it gross. So I always clip my fingernails. Without fingernails??? I'm also curious about it but I don't wanna imagine it. It may turn out a little... weird.

I feel very annoyed when my finger nails grow as in nails impurities will get collected. It also becomes uncomfortable.

welcome to the wonderful world of mylot. i play the guitar i am a bassist in a band so i need to trim my finger nails every other day to be exact. while my toe nails my wife is the one who take cares of that. we also have a four years old son so we make sure our finger nails are short for is is part of hygiene. make sure to trim your nails after every bath every other day so it wont get in your way. cant imagine how can you eat with those finger nails har har har. they look like small shovels har har har. hope to see you more here at mylot and goodluck

Hi GreenGiant! I'm a girl but I like to grow my nails a bit longer because I put nail arts and nail polish. I like to see them long provided they should be grown in a well groomed manner and they must be clean too. If people didn't have fingernail, its like "ouchhh." We would feel pain like as if we cut your nails very short, we feel the pain on the tips. Happy mylotting!

actually i like to see my nail long with nail colors on it but when i started to have an skin allergy i already cut my nail short coz i did not did i will just wake up at night scratching my skin if i have long nails, so if its short i can harm my skin even if i scratch it due to allergy.

It would definitely make life a lot more easier with one less chore to do. I don't like to cut or trim my nails at all. But if I don't they will grow very long and start to become brittle and then break by themselves.

yes, i don't like keeping my fingernails long because i play the guitar. it's problematic to hold down the strings on the frets if they are long. besides, longer fingernails tend to get dirty more often and i can't always look after them. so i keep my fingernails as short as possible most of the time. at the most i might keep my thumbnails a bit longer.

I hate long fingernails, when my nails grow longer, I cut it as soon as possible. Long fingernails make you to get more bacteria. And you will look neatly when you have short nails. So, do not be lazy, cutting fingernails can't take you so much time.

of course it's really annoying..while playing guitar, scratching my head, and also interfere with the view..the majority of women do not like something like that..but i can not imagine if humans live without nails..of course will make your fingers it is easy to get hurt.. so start to reduce feeling lazy to cut the fingernails brother and dont cut your fingernails to short because make the fingers so sensitive.. =)

i also don't like to have long fingernails because it is really obstructing me to do things fast... on top of that, my fingernails always break when they get too long... so i always make sure that i cut my nails every now and then... it just look cleaner and tidier for me... take care and have a nice day...

I'm a woman and yes I get annoyed when my finger nails get to long. I keep mine pretty short because it just makes life easier. Once mine reach a certain length they like to snag and break anyways so I prefer to just avoid that if I can. I try to remember to file my nails every week but it doesn't always happen. lol

I wish nails wouldn't grow and would be cut perfectly when you were born. I find it tedious and a waste of time to cut my nails, but I do it about once every other week. I always mess up around my pinky, because I am rushed and bored. I hate how after a certain length they become bothersome and white (on occasion). I become scared to show my hands when I forget to cut my nails too. Anyone else have these feelings?

I usually don't have to worry about being annoyed wirh my fingernails. Nervous nailbiting habits do get in the way! My fingernails just don't seem to get the chance to grow long.

I love my long nails and am devastated when they break. I learned long ago how to get around the keyboard and do other chores without letting my nails get in the way. It feels weird trying to type without long nails. Right now because of the cold weather all my nails are shorter than normal, and I do not like it.

Yeah I'm annoyed when my nails are long because I type a lot and I also love playing guitar. Doing both of this thing always requires me to keep a short nails. I also can't be bothered looking after a long nails, I love to keep it short and not to worry about it until the time I have to cut it again. Have a nice day
