I am a woman and I am always bringing a tear gas with me, especially because I have a night shift schedule and I go home late. I think this object is the safest thing to bring by women. Sharp instruments may harm you if you don't know how to use them properly. How about you?

anything that we can held into our hands is considered as weapons....

Thats a good idea. I usually carry my car key in between my fingers so i can jab at someone if i need to. But my new car doesn't have a car key, New technology. I leave school late at night, most of the time the parking lot is empty and it creeps me out so I will either call my mom and keep her on the phone until I get to my car or if i cant get her on the phone I pretend to be on the phone. It may sound dumb, but it gives me piece of mind.

Here in the UK it is an offence to carry a weapon even if it's for personal defence. There is no way I would carry a weapon of any type, but I do tend to hold my house keys in my fist if I feel threatened

i dont have tear gas though my brother bought one for me while im still in high school and he told me to bring it always but i just laugh at him though i know its not really safe outside. but then i always carry my perfume with me and i put it in the spray bottle so i can use it in replace with tear gas in case of emergency.

I'm a guy, but I'm security conscious. I carry a small knife clipped inside of my pocket and a kubaton on my keyring. I also keep a collapsible baton in my car. You never know what can happen. I always recommend at least a basic self defense course for women. It will increase your awareness and give you confidence. It won't give you the skills to go all Steven Seagal on an attacker, but it could get you out of a bad situation. Love & Luck. Stay Safe.

hi! I don't have and don't carry any safety objects with me, but maybe because i am a boy :) well, for the women is a little bit different, because we all know that there are some really nasty guys who always try to take advantage on a woman. so if you don't have any weapon license and you don't want to have, then the best two options are the pepper spray, which I know is very effective and the shock stick, which you can find in every armory store in all the sizes and prices :)
