Throw garbage from top floor??

Hi MyLotters,
Though it doesn't belong to all,but a few screw-headed people who throws garbages from the top floor making the world outside a dustbin!!They even don't care whether there are any living being available right outside down under their visible periphery!I met one such masterpiece when I was fortunately enough passing by her balcony.Fist it was a plastic bag of waste that fell from sky,then it was a splash of waste water to add to my ill-luck.I stayed awe-struck over there being confused about staring "where?".Then I felt that the water is going to vaporise not by the sun but by the heat produced due to the circulation of blood in full gamut.Then I found a smiling young man appeared like a bless to say "We've been suffering from since they came here!".I thought it'd be ingenuous of me to walk away quickly if I don't want add some more to this humiliation!!What do you think,MyLotters?What I should have done?What you would do if you has to face similar situation?Please,let me know!!

Hi please do not tolerate this or keep silent. Its not just they are disturbing people like you, and they are causing total pollution to the environment. If you have an association or welfare give a complaint to them. Before that, talk to that person and its your duty to make them understand which they would have known by themselves. And plastics are very dangerous to be thrown out just like that, soon we will be working on avoiding plastics, just like planting trees now to avoid global warming. So act now!

Thanks for your advice.But there are some countries like India where people follows less rules as in other countries.Here only the ministers care about the votes.Nothing else!!

I felt really a bit upset reading your post because what If i am the one under those garbage falling from the sky. I wouldn't mind if that plastic bag was filled with gold or money...I will surely welcome it with a big smile. But what those upper people think of the ground floor...do they consider some waste can will be there to catch their waste.
Have they ever think once that there maybe some people in the ground who were presently walking ready for work and will end themselves receiver of those waste.
Sometimes human act like monkeys or animals that has no guilt or conscience at all.

I have never had to face such a situation before. I am glad to have never had to face a situation like that. I would assume if the landlord knew about this he or she would be very upset and possibly end up evicting said tenant for throwing their garbage out on the street instead of going to a dumpster.

Hi, yoursjannat. I would contact their landlord about this. And if something is not done about this, I will contact the city officials of this county. Let them know that people are throwing garbage from their top floor that they live at. The landlord may get a citation. This is nasty and rude because you just never know who is standing around when the food has been thrown over the top floor. Littering is unclean and dangerous.

Those people sure are something! 
What floor (what number) do they live in? If it's like around 10 or more, it's actually dangerous to throw stuff from that height because there's more force when the item thrown falls down and the person at the ground can actually get hurt.
If I am in a similar situation, I would instinctively scream at them. Then, I won't directly deal with those people but tell the management of that building what their tenants are doing. If there is no proper (or at least a convenient) garbage disposal system in that building, that may be causing people to just be lazy and throw from the top of the building.

I threw papers to hit people intentionally but just for fun and I do it like once in a year. I think that those people there aren't doing it for fun because its continually and its wet. Call the police, confront them. Let them know.

I can't believe that people can be so reckless and stupid!
I thought that this is an old story, the past, but it seems that in some places people still haven't learned to behave like a human beings. That's crazy.
Anyway, I suggest you should go to the police and complain about such neighbors. Such people won't stop before some measures will be undertaken. But don't let it be that way.

thats an irritating place
i really hate to see those garbage specially scattering in my way. in our building we are not allowed to just put our garbage outside as they have time to do that, like garbage disposal must be between 9pm-12am in the evening and they will put a big trash can just outside coz garbage truck will pick them up early in the morning. and if they saw garbage outside during the day they will check those garbage if its from what room. theres guard here to check our place form time to time and theres a hidden cam so in every hallway so they know who do it. i guess all tenants there must talk to the management about that problem coz it will harm to people's health, its not really healthy. so that management will do some thing about it. or report the building or management to the government for building proper sanitation as im sure that if they saw those garbage the management will not tolerate it and they will do action to the management.

ya i have noticed it a quite a lot of time . they will just throw the garbage from the top floor into the road thinking that its not their duty to maintain the street clean . they cant walk a few metres to throw the garbage into the dustbin in the streets . it will irritating and i feel like to ask them to clean the street but i cant do anything at that time .

A nice and thought to be discussed.
Yes - I stay in the round floor and the same problem is faced by me too.
Several time this point has been raids in the meetings of the apartment -but wonder is there is no one to get rectify themselves. This is really hurting.
the only best way I feel is to raise this question and suggest the president of the apartment to supply a dustbin free of cost to all the residents and ask that to be kept just at the side of their main door.
This is want I have done and it got solved m-but still face problems with children who enjoy throwing banana skin through their windows.

Can`t the local authorities do anything about it?
I mean, a friend of mine told me a story how he and a friend back in the days were throwing eggs at public transport once from his appartement. There was an angry woman across the street which shouted at them. The next day there was a letter in the mailbox from the police together with a fine equivalent to around 100 US dollars. Obviously the woman told the police about them.

You did the perfect things. If i face the same situation then may be i did the same things. But if it destroy my new cloths or favorite cloths then may be i scold them.
I know it's very bad habits but when i was kids then sometime i throw some paper or chips packet from my floor. Then i mother told me that it's very bad habit and i never do it again.
