Hello, my dear friends, I have some confusing things these days. I'm working for a company, this job is easy, no pressure, meanwhile, I could get high salary and good welfare, for most person, maybe it's really a good job. But I don't prefer to this work, it's not my interests, so i wanna quit, if you were me, what will you do? thanks for your suggestions.

Before you decide to leave your present job, I think you should ask yourself: Is this what i want?DO i do this because I like?or something forces you to do that?Or you like the job but you get bored with the working condition?.I was in that position too, but it is not because i don`t like the job, but because I got bored with the working condition after most of my friends left the office. Then, i started being freelance teacher, up till now. I think, it will depend on you, whatever you decide, hope it is the best for you. Try to do something you like

Thanks, thanks for your suggestions and your questions. First, this is not what i want, i do this because i was cheated by one recruiter, she told me that in her company, there was what i wanna do, the working condition is also very good, the team is positive and do very good to me, there is only one reason why i will leave this job, that i don't like the job, yeah, life is short, we all have right to do what we like, i've decided, handing my resignation tomorrow, thanks a lot.

Of course if I had an opportunity to exchange my current workplace for a better one, I would do that. But if I had no other jobs to choose from, I would stay on my current position (unless it's really terrible or even dangerous job). I've heard a proverb, telling "You can't direct the wind, but you can adjust your sails". I think that it's true, if you don't like something, but also can't change it, then it would be wise to change your attitude towards it. Or perhaps you can come up with some other activities you could do at work (for example playing some games with your colleagues in spare time or something), so it wouldn't be so boring there.

yeah, i could say my job is not bad, for many people, this job is their ideal one, high salary without no pressure, but i have my ideal career and my dream, this work is not on my way. now i'm facing these two choices, keeping the stable job or pursuing my dream with risks, and now maybe the answer is clear.

I think if you have no choice then you have no choice but if if you have any other way to change direction and change career then that will be great.
For me, I am working for a company as well and so far i can say its 50/50 i love my job but i have other plans. I want to handle a business about computer or about food.lol
God bless

Well most of the time people do not like their jobs. My last job was actually fun but could be very stressful at times. The pay wasn't too bad and the people were great! I knew I would like'd to have a better job something that doesn't feel like a job but with the economy right now I just didn't want to leave my job then end up regretting it b/c I couldn't find another job.
Well, I ended up getting laid off, which I knew would happened b/c the company is moving in a different direction but I don't feel bad b/c I can have my UI benefits until I find something I want to do with out having the stress of no income coming in!
I've wanted to start my business again so this is my chance!

The thing that count most is your comfortability. If you aren't then quit for you will not enjoy your everyday life. However if you need money and you can't find another job that fits you which can give you the same amount, then stick with the first. Refer to Maslow's hierarchy of needs.

i always think that the job that i have is a blessing from God... many people out there are jobless and looking for jobs especially in today's economic conditions... so i won't ask for more and just hang on there as much as i can... as long as the conditions are not too bad, i won't be quitting from my job no matter how much i dislike it... what i will do if i really want to quit from my job is to look for another one first before i quit... i won't dare to take the risk not having a job as i have mortgage, bills and loans to pay... take care and have a nice day...

Well, I am not in the position to tell you what to do. But if it was me on your end, then I would most likely find another job that would be fitting for me. There are those that stick to their job simply because of the high paycheck despite the fact that they are suffering and are not happy. I could not afford to do that. But you have to consider nowadays that its really hard to find a good and stable job. So do think wisely and weigh every thing before you decide.

why quit if they already offer you nice salary and you said that theres no pressure in it. imagine those people whose still striving for job up to now. ll you have to do is to appreciate every thing you have including your job. if you dont like it then find things that make it an interesting job for you than think of going out coz your not interested in it.

We have basic human rights: the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
If I don't like my job, I'd quit. Life is short. Why should I waste precious time doing something that I don't enjoy. The clock does not turn counter clockwise.
Would you risk saying, "I'll find something better later."? What if later never comes.
Love yourself, be kind to yourself, believe in yourself, be brave enough to quit and have faith that there is something out there that will make your life worthwhile.
When there's a will, there's a way.
Good luck, yanglong!

hi! well, I don't have a job yet, by the way i am searching for some but still nothing, maybe because i am searching for a time-part job, but I guess that if i have one and I am not satisfied with it, i will probably quit and find another one, but first will find the new one, so that I can be sure that i will not stay unemployed and then I will quit!

Hi, its always we can shine if we do a job of our interest. But i would ask you, why you joined a job you dont like. May be to meet your needs or family. To me, i can say..as you said your job is good, not much pressure..its very rare to get jobs like that. May be if you joined a job of your interest, which has more pressure and without any hike in salary. It happens to many.. So i can say, continue this job. In your free times, do a part time job in which you have interest.

I have the same harassment not long ago. Now, I have a new job for there days. And I'm very glad I havn't wast more time on my last job, though I am more busy then before and nearly earn a same salary as before. But I do feel more happy and fruitful!
When we begin to go to work. We spend so much time of our life on working. As you don't like it, why don't you find a new job? Let us be happer in our limited life? Maybe you could get more in a new job. God knows the results if not try.

Finding a job it's so difficult lately. A lot of us might feel the same way like you do, working on the field that we don't like. Maybe you should look for one that you really passionate to do , but in the meantime don't quit the one that you have right now. Good luck !

Keep the job you have while you search for another one. These days, it isn't who you know or what you know... it is how much you will work for. And the employer doesn't care if they have to hire an unqualified person if it means a lower salary cause then they will tell the rest of the staff to train the person and eventually get a well qualified person for a cheap salary. And those that trained and educated the new guy will do it for free.. just part of their "team playing" protocol to keep their own jobs and the employer knows this. But most definately, don't just quit what you have until you have a replacement.

well at first people would sign up with a job because of the fat check every payday and the benefits that comes along with it, But eventually, if you do not love what you do it would wear you out. So my suggestion is leave the job, don't get to the point where you would be a liability to your boss and find something that you truly love doing. something that you are passionate about.

My opinion, if you need money, for example if you have a baby that needs food, pay taxes etc. get a high payed job until you're balanced, then you can search for a job you like since you already have a job, so you take no risks, see how it is a few days and decide, no one forces you to stay in one place, flow like water from job to job until you're satisfied, don't be tied to a job, that is what I think.
