It might sounds like dumb question. But, remember when we were kid, most of us hate these green things on our plate? Yuck! And our parents, teachers, grandparents always encourages us to eat them, because it is the fact vegetables is good for our body.
Somehow we get used to with the taste.
Some vegetables I don't have any problem eating it, especially if they cooked certain way. But there are few of them that I still don't like no matter what, for example lima beans.
Be honest I do eat vegetables knowing that my body need the nutrition in it, but not because I really like it ( please don't tell my kids ) hahaha...
Like that V8 juice commercial, sometimes i get away from eating vegetables, and take the juice instead. LOL
Just curiousity, i wonder if all of you really like vegetables.

i am not eating vegetables! but for health sake, i need to. i am starting to chew the leaves (haahhahaa), and trying to like it. of course, there are health benefits in eating vegetables. when i was still young, my parents didn't push me to eat vegetables. i am not blaming them, but when i will have a child soon, i will let them eat vegetables.
there are encapsulated vegetables now, i am taking moringa (malungay, horseradish) to escape the leaves! hahahhaa

Vegtables are one of those things that do not taste great but I do not mind the taste of some of them! Like you there are a few vegtables that I can not stand but I will east some! Just a normal dinner salad I will eat, especially if there is some ranch with it! There will always be some like for me squash that I do not like! Fine with the basics like lettuce though! I never have tried V8 but I think I should! HAppy Mylotting!

When I was a child I hate vegetables too except for squash. When I am at my age now I love it and it is a very important part of our daily dishes. I like the local vegetables better, and probably these are not present in your country. ;) These are more on the green leafy vegetables. I'm lucky coz my children are not picky with food so they eat vegetables too.
I think it's important for parents to introduce vegetables on the diet of their children at an early age and not to be too dependent on red meat alone.

I love vegetables and have all my life. There are very few that I won't eat. I love my carrots, cucumbers, raddish, corn, collard greens, tomatoes, potatoes, romaine lettuce, celery, string beans, green beans, peas, kale, broccoli, beets, yams etc.... I try to get at least 2 to 4 veggies in my body each and everyday along with fruits. In fact today my dinner will consist of a boiled yam with a salad consisting of lettuce, carrots, celery, cabbage and broccoli with a little bit of italian dressing or vingrette.

We all must admit that vegetables taste bad. It's as if they weren't meant to be eaten. As a kid, when I see goats or horses eat grass or veggies I used to think to myself "what the hell is this guy thinking? How can he eat something that tastes that TERRIBLE?!" Well anyway, I realized I wasn't a goat (LOL) and that they're taste buds might be really bad or they actually have no sense of knowing if something tastes bad or not. (LOL) Anyway, veggies. I guess everyone grows out of it. And sooner or later our taste buds adjust. I used to hate eating vegetables but now I love them despite their taste because it's good in my diet and is really good food if you want to shed of weight!

I know I must eat them. Its to build muscle, I think that you would have too. Many people say greens are horrible and have nothing taste on them. That's not true, the body may or not like the taste of veggies. Adding a little salt to them might be good

I love vegetables but in some way I try to avoid certain vegetable dishes that are cooked in a certain way. There's this vegetable soup that my mother loves to cook. It's a soup that have these obnoxious smelling leaves and paired with steamed fish..yek!

Most of my meals compose vegetables so i do not have any problem having them until and unless you ask me to have some raw ones lol.coming to Leafy ones i take them once in a week---i cant skip them either coz they're good for our health and help our body retain some nutrients and vital vitamins else i dont mind leaving behind them for my favourite Chicken .great day.

To be honest i don't find the vegetables to be the nicest thing on the plate but i do eat them as they're are good for you. I sometimes eat them first so i can enjoy the rest of my meal vegetable-free, potatoes are nice though :)

I've always liked eating my veggies. Since my parents cook them deliciously, I don't even care about how people say that it tastes like grass. Besides, it's good for the body. What else would I ever lose if I eat them right?

When I was young, I don't like to eat vegetables. I think most of us when we are young would prefer meat, sweets and junk food instead of vegetables. Their tastes are not really what you call child friendly. But as we grow older, we become more conscious of our health and hence, of what we eat. It's necessary for me now to eat vegetables every week. I can't imagine a week without eating one.

I absolutely love my vegetables, the greener the better. I could live off of broccoli and brussel sprouts, though they can stop growing spinich as far as I am concerned, that stuff isn't fit for anybody. Nothing beats vegetables you grow yourself, not that I am much of a gardner, but I try.

well i too did hate them when I was a kid, but i guess I now I can eat them without as much a fuss at all. There are cultures which are completely vegetarian, they shudder at the thought of eating meat, just as e people do to eating vegetables!!!
Of course, a great deal of all depends on the way they are cooked though!

In a way I do, and a way I don't By themselves I can't stand them. They have to be cooked , and I sprinckle some butter and seasonings on them. I am used to eating them with other foods, but I once just ate a thing of veggies as dinner when I couldn't find anything else.

Yes, I do, and it's mandatory of me to include leafy green vegetables in all my meals. In fact, I always have 2 portions of vegetables and 1 portion of meat to go with my rice. But there are a few which I just don't eat, for example, brinjals and lady's fingers. Anyway, there are so many varieties of vegetables to choose from. Experiment with all of these and you will surely find a few which you will like the taste.

I really like to eat fruits and vegetables. I don't care whatever their taste as long as they are nutritious. The taste may not be that impressive but with other flavors added, its endurable to eat the veggies especially when its an assortment of vegetables.

I love fruits but not so much on veggie. hahaha you can call it pickie. I mean we can eat fruit as is and it taste good. But veggie specially the leafy and green stuff, it's just hard for me to swallow it when they raw or don't cook right. People say the nutrition better when it's raw or not overcooked.
