hi there takeshiboy, definitely a big NO..he can be the worst person to replace Gloria Macapagal..a business man who spend so much , I dont believe he would not ask for ROI or the Return of INvestment in the Near future..
Did you see the news about C5, he is also spending the amount he got from that project, meaning he is corrupt..

I definitely agree with your opinions. Some politicians spend much money in able to get the attention of people. One of the easiest way is by making commercial that has involvement of the poor, children and big celebrities.By this way other politician, the question is how can he get the money back? if the salary of the President in only around Php60,000.00.Then, the minimum budget needs by the candidate is around 5 Billion pesos. The projected income of the President by 6 years is only Php 4,320,000.00.

I would rather vote for a dog and a cat than Manny Villar. I strongly believe that he is corrupt and he will be worse than GMA. And it is true that Manny Villar is the candidate of GMA. We were able to speak with Gibo's chief of staff and unfortunately Gibo is working on his own without support from Lakas Kampi Group. It's a good thing though coz at least he won't be indebted to GMA. But I think he got a small chance. So I'm just going to vote for Noynoy. He may not be the brightest but I have high hopes with his values and his legacy that he won't be corrupt. What we need right now is somebody who is not corrupt. Villar???? Landgrabber!@!!!

I will vote for Noynoy because I believe that he is not corrupt. And I think that is the person that we need right now. At this time, intelligence is not a question because GMA is even one but what values does she got? Nothing. So I would like to have someone who got values whom I am confident that will not steal. Unfortunately, with Villar we got some friends who are connected with Landbank and PNB and yes he is actually using his power to acquire lands there which is suppose to be offered yet to the original owners. He is abusing his power. And as I have said I would rather have a dog or a cat than him. Sorry if you are pro Villar but I just can't take another GMA in the position. That's the least this nation needs.

may I asked why are you voting for noynoy? is it because he's highest in the survey? his parents are heroes during the time of martial law? or because you are cleared with his platforms. I would strongly believed and respect your decision, if you vote him out of his good platform, you think you can sample on of his vision besides saying "he will not steal"

If I were in philippines, I'll choose gibo or gordon due to their accomplishments and flatforms. However, gibo is under gloria's ticket and gordon is not yet ripe to become president due to insufficient popularization. Manny Villar is one of the anomalous politician in the philippines.

For sure manny (money) talks everything will be in him. when Manny villar wins for sure the philippines will become the leading poor in asia and in the entire world. no one in the presidentibles are really has the capability to lift the philippines in debt and poorness.

hello Takeshi,
CAn you be more specific onhow he will corrupt the government. I know a lot of peopel are angry with villar because of the negative issues that arises to him. but you know, the only thing that i got mad at villar was when he boycotted the last session of the senate, which gives me a real impression that he's hiding something and not standing up to the issue.

He has a lot anomalous activities that can affect to the economy of the philippines. There is a possibility of getting transaction in government to gain his personal business and other transaction may be only his family will gain and not the filipinos.

His being too lax in spending his campaign funds is really making his candidacy dubious. For most many are asking question how he will be able to get this money back to him. Although he can say that it comes from his supporters but I doubt if he was able to come up with a 1 billion donations.

i think so too... if he really loved his country, shouldn't he have had given his properties to the minimum possible payment during the c5 road extension, as his personal contribution to the development of the country? and i can't help thinking about all the money involved in his infomercials banners and all others.. he is going to get all of those back... surely a businessman wouldn't invest on something he wouldn't earn anything.... haaiiiii.... i wish all of us good luck...

Anyone whose tagline is "Destroy poverty" begs a big question mark right there. Sure he's a businessman but politics is different and it's going to be hard if he can't understand that he can't please everybody. Also, his target audience expect him to do miracles, which he can't.

i also agree that Manny Villar is not the right person for the presidency,,i think he is the type of person where he keeps on helping people during the campaign season and never look back at them when he is already at the seat...just a typical politician..,,,
