My avatar won't change!

Awhile back I tried to change my avatar and when I clicked to update the photo I got a blank page. I tried a few times with the same result. I gave up trying. Just now I tired unsuccessfully 3 times to change it.
Anyone else having this problem? I have seen lots of people with new avatars recently, so I know it is not everyone.

HUH? But ya know I've been getting weird errors here and there with just posting or drop down boxes that I didn't select are dropped down. I dunno probably just some glitches since the last update.

I've also noticed that some people have successfully changed their avatars just today, so let's see if we can solve your problem.
Walk me through the exact steps you take to attempt to change your avatar. Tell me about the image file you're trying to replace it with. Is it a big file? What file format is it? Do you know the size of the image?

This is really ironic.as it is the first time in a year that I have ever received a post from you in my emails. and now it takes me over one hour to respond. I can read everything but unable to respond. Driving me crazy and even Mylot has not responded. I can get on any site in the world but not Mylot!! I ha been going on for over a month and I am sick of it. Once Mylot updated then I was 'sown' dated.=and I am not laughing about it either. I do hope that you and the children are well. Blessings

cynthiann, over an hour to respond? That's crazy! Work with me to eliminate the obvious and we'll see if we can sort this out. I know you said you don't have any problems with any other websites but please humor me by answering these questions:
1. What browser and browser version do you use?
2. What type of Internet connection do you have?
3. Have you cleared your cookies recently? Do you clear them regularly?
4. Just to clarify, this problem started for you the exact same time we did the upgrade?

Hi Alice,
First thanks for getting me in touch with Lilybug again. I used to have to search to find her and we haven't been corresponding as much as I would like.
Stay with me as I am not of the computer generation and a bit last century with the technology.
I use Internet Explorer - I believe it is version 8
I deleted all cookies 2 days ago on the advice of a Mylotter with whom I correspond regularly
My problems started about the same time Mylot changed or shortly after. This could be verified by looking at my payment schedule which went down the toilet as I was unable to make contact with my friends.
Let me say what is happening that is right. I am receiving emails from my friends. I can go to respond without any problems but when I press the add comment thingy then it sticks. I see only one bar of Internet connection and it can take up to and over an hour before I can make a comment. So I have been reading but not able to respond and this is very frustrating. I should be grateful for any help that could be given but you would have to give me very precise instructions. Many thanks!

hell0! maybe it was some system bug and they have to fix it probably. so you haven't changed it, have you? I really haven't tried it till now, because I like mine and the others like it too, and I also don't like to upload photos of mine or of my family on the net :)
