are you a victim or a survivor?

One think I never am in any situation is a victim. I will survive everything because I have the Lord on my side. You may hurt me, you may take things away from me, you may even make me feel bad. But the one thing no one can ever do to me is to make me a victim.

I'm a survivor though there are times when I feel like it would be better to just act like a victim and just blame and blame stuff. I know it won't help you too much to just act like a victim and not do something about a situation. I dislike getting pitied and would rather try to see what I can do rather than whine.

hi ksmita I am a survivor as I have been through all that this ugly economy here in ca U SA handed us. I and my son shared an apartment, he paid the rent as I am retired 83 and was living on small social securtiy check. he got laid off, we ran out of money, we got evicted, our stuff is in storage, I am in this tiresome retirement center so that I have a home to live in until he gets another job and he is still in a gov.sponsored apt so he can look for work, one whole year without a job but we are surviving and it can only get better.we have hopes that this year he will get a reallygood job,he will accumulate enough money to get us back into an apartment. hopes are great and optimism is needed andwe are optimistic.
