It's already summer season in the Philippines and everybody, I'm sure, is planning to take some vacations, so where will you spend it? I planned to spend my summer in Manila to visit my sister and cousin, sounds weird considering that summer in Manila is really punishing and morbid, hahhaa. But I want to spend a grand time with my sister and cousin.hehehe. How about you?is summer excites you?

I love going to the beach too especially during summer. But this summer, the heat of the sun is extremely damaging that I prepare to go to the mall instead. Pangasinan is such a nice place, I passed their once, when I and my colleagues went to Baguio for our retreat.I love to visit Pangasinan especially the 100 islands. Maybe someday.

Hello jlamela :)
Yeah summer always excites me, especially during my whole student years because after all the studying, finally I'll have a two-month rest to enjoy myself and my time with the family.
Usually we go to different places in Luzon like Baguio and Tagaytay since we prefer to be in cold places than in beaches :) My most unforgettable summer would be just last year in Camarines Sur when I tried wakeboarding for the first time and I met one of the world's greatest wakeboarder, Reuben Buchanan. ;)) During that time we also went to Donsol, Sorsogon to experience diving with the whalesharks.
Compared to all my summers, I think the last year's summer for me is the best because that is my last summer as a student and I am with the whole kinsfolk and I tried different things I have never done in my entire life.
Now that I am setting myself off to job-hunting, I don't think there will be summers like those anymore. I have to face reality that I have to find a job to support my family. My graduation is on March 26 and though it's still two more weeks I already miss being a student. But of course I know I have to grow and I'll surely miss those summers as a student. :)
My advice to all the students: Enjoy your summer, but do worthwhile and unforgettable experiences than just sitting in the couch watching TV. Try something daring and new or do a charity work. Those summers are just once in a lifetime so better make it memorable.

Camarines sur is one of Philippines provinces I dreamed to visit. Such a fascinating province.
Good luck to your job hunting, anyway you are still young and there are so many things store for you, just don't lose hope, in job hunting, determination and persistence are your weapon, just pray hard for that job. Good luck!

This is a subject that is really weighing heavily on my mind recently. Last year our family didn't have the opportunity to have a vacation, so this year it is something that we are seriously planning on doing. We are seriously considering visiting a beach this year, although we haven't decided where. A big part of me thinks that we are probably going to end up at Virginia Beach because that is where my cousin lives and we haven't seen her in over a year.

We spend usually our hott summer in OOty an hillstation in india, chennai. We have our apple estate and u can get the best apples over there. Its best place for me as our summer are real bad. Ooty is such a cool weather,it attracts many tourists too.
Also during the season, there will be flower shows which adds more beauty to the hillstation!

I'm planning to go on a road trip this summer going to different beaches. Maybe i will head out to the northern part of the Philippines. La Union area would be great with its surfing sites. I wish I would have enough time to go on vacation due to some work issues. I hope to work on my plans on the last week of march.

Taking a leisure trip to a seaside is always a welcome and relaxing welcome during summer season. We can feel inner peace and the environment is so cool and soothing, but I don't do something when i am in the beach because I am afraid of the ultra violet radiation even if I put on sunblock.
