Strawberry Fields was reference to a cemetary in Liverpool, possibly where John Lennon's mother was buried?

hi bart78 I had the idea that they were singing about keeping the strawberr fields and farm field going forever, meaning that that we need to not spew toxic chemicals into the air ruining the fields of the various farms. In other words dont poison our fields and our world, we have to live in this mess we are making of our world.Maybe they were telling us to clean up our environment so we can have strawberry fields aain.

Well I cant remember the wording but I think Strawberry fields is a park area maybe and the Beatles all being from Liverpool are describing an area where there was scope for imagination(I don't know if it is a real place or made up).
That song was written during their psychedelic time I think and possibly has dream references.
I like it for its swirling effects mostly and the way the words seem to fit into a rhythm.
