Ok, so today I went to the movies. And you know how sometimes you cant see the movie screen all that well because the person that is sitting in front of you is really tall? Well it just so happend that the movie theature was crowded and there were hardly any seats. I didnt know ( the lights were dim ) that i had sat in front of a little kid. Now sometimes those seats can be really uncomfortable. Now what was I supposed to do Slouch down and be uncomfortable the whole time just so that the little kid could watch the movie. Or sit comfortably and watch the movie ? I felt kind of bad.

Surely its the theatres responsibility to tier the seats so everyone can see, not yours as a paying customer? If I were the parent of the kid I'd want a refund and if I were you I'd sit comfortably as I'd have paid for the privilege to watch the film. Not your job to adjust the viewing angle of other people, that's the theatres job :)

Ha, I've had that problem, too. I would definitely try to slouch a little or maybe lean against the arm thing in between the seats so that the kid behind me would be able to enjoy the movie as well, but not to the point where it was uncomfortable for me. You paid for your ticket just like the kid's parent paid for theirs, so you have just as much right to sit and enjoy the movie, but its in good graces that you at least try to find some way to not be right in the kid's way without making yourself miserable and uncomfortable. One time, though, this tall guy with a HUGE afro sat RIGHT in front of me. I was able to trade seats with a taller friend who could see over the guy's fro, so I wasn't too frustrated. I was more amused than anything about how ridiculously big the afro was! XD Anyways, just a random story :P

Yeah, I tried placing my arm on the holder and sitting a little bit sideways so that I was holding my chin and supporting my head it was a little uncomfortable . But wow an afro yeah those can get crazy !!

That's a tough one. If I felt bad enough then I might try to slouch a bit, but only if it was comfortable in my own chair. I'm not really tall. Maybe that child's parents should try to get there a little earlier so they can get their child a better seat.

hi ladyboss oh yes I would slouch down just enough so the kid could see, but not enough to give me a back ache or feel horribly uncomfortable. we both paid for our tickets 'so we each should be able to see the movie. so just scoot over a bit and let him see too.

I hardly have this trouble when it comes to sitting behind a tall person since I usually sit at the balcony second to the last. I love it when you can see it in plain sight and do not have to look up when you are sitting on the first floor of the cinema. But back then when I sat behind someone taller of course I just changed seats with my hubby since he was concerned that I would not enjoy the movie we were watching.
