What do you prefer intrinsic motivation or extrinsic motivation?

I believe both motivation can be effective. But intrinsic motivation is something that is within you. It is a drive that you could have inside your heart. Extrinsic is also effective in a way such as giving a reward or gift etc.for you are you an intrinsic or extrinsic motivator?

I need both, if I am only intrinsically or extrinsically motivated then I find that I don't stick to something for so long. Either I get bored with it or too lazy to work for that something if such is the case.
