how often do you exercise?

I have been trying to walk at least 30 mins a day for the past few weeks. This week I have been not going and feel bad about it because I really need to lose weight. So how often do you exercise and for how long when you do?

My walking goes to getting grand daughter form school a few times a week and now that she is in T=ball there is alot of jumping and screaming going on lolololol

Grandpa BOb am sure they do wehn ya get to see them. The school here is around the block from us. but the way I have to walk now takes me about 10 to 15 moins. After taking a cholestorol med it messed up my knee and hips so have to take my time lololol but I make it!

If I walked to get my grandkids I'd have to leave the night before as they live about 50 miles away. But I do get a workout when I do see them. They are 18 months, 6, 9, and 10. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Hi, Mom! I've been working with a group at work for about a month, so I work out every day after the last class ends. If, for any reason, I can't make it that day, I work out at home. The motivation from being part of the group has been wonderful for me!

I agree with you as working with a group makes you "Have to do it" and "Have to go" as working out alone makes you think of "I'm tired today and I'll go tomorrow" Thanks

I have not exercised really in many years. I do try and take about a 30 to 45 minute walk every day if the weather copperates. Sometimes I will walk for over an hour. I play Wii games and get a lot of exercise from that. But no gym or workouts like regular exercise programs go. If we stay at the local casino overnight I do workout on the treadmills and bikes and sauna though. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

Tread mill cant do but I like the bike I do own one have to get it out now that weather is getting warmer use it outside no room in the house for it. your casino must be out of your town to stay over night. have casinos all around me here lololol Thaks for invieting me as a freind

I get comped free rooms a lot. The casino is about 45 miles away is all. Not that far out of town really. Theres about 6 casinos here in Minnesota a 2 hour or less drive away from me. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I always promise myself to go for a walk to shed some weight but the weather here right now is too hot. I do walk my dogs though in the late evening but only for a short distance. I wish to make it a habitual affair before the fats accumulate too much.

Here in Ohio Spring has started so this is a great time to walk. I am not sure why I have not been doing it but I need to get the ball rolling again. I have been overweight for too long and want to be able to get healthier than I am. Thanks for taking the time to respond friend.

That is the only problem with exercising, if you stop for a day or two then that leads into a week or two. I'm trying very hard this year to tone up and lose about 10 pounds. I use my rebounder (mini trampoline) about 10 minutes every day and I also take walks.

I workout everyday except for sundays! I do 40 to 90 mins of cardio everyday. I lift weights and stretch so on average I spend 2-3 hours at the gym. I love it.. If you want to loose weight do lots of cardio.

Thanks for the tip I do want to lose weight but like I said for some reason I am not doing my walking. I want to get a gym membership but I know they come with a cost. I do have some money right now and maybe I should look into doing that. Thanks for taking the time to respond. mylotting

For me, excercising is a hard thing to do. Unfortunately I have a sit down type job where I sit and answer phones for a Cab company inputting information for people wanting cabs 40 hrs. a week and also suffer from Arthritis, etc. to where a lot of the time when a day is over I hurt too bad to want to do much. But I have found that when I get time to walk and feel like it I do feel a lot better overall. And this can also help with water retention which is a lot of my weight gain for sure.

I exercise during Sundays. A little stretching and jumping in one place. As much as I want to go jogging the space in my house and the street are limited. I do jumping rope and stomach pressing. I also use weights. I do that when I wake up early in the morning during Sunday. I walk for 10 mins every weekdays on my way to work. I still have a little exercise everyday.

I am diabetic so it is imperative that I exercise to help maintain a healthy blood sugar level. I try to walk at least 30 minutes each day but have had to stop after my heart surgery to unblock an artery. I am now back up to five minutes so in about five weeks I will be back to walking my 30 minutes daily. I have a treadmill so I can walk in any kind of weather. The hardest part is making oneself do it.

I have a football training twice a week and volleyball training a couple of times per week. I think that it's slightly above average. I am content with my sports schedule, because it allows me to develop my body, improve my stamina and physical strength. But it's also a good way to entertain myself and to socialize with my teammates.

well, I think if you get more friends to join you in your walks or exercise it would give better results as it would be like friends joining rather than exercise and walk alone. As for me I got a Wii and every week I invite my friends to have fun, dance and exercise. we spend around an hour or more and the most important thing is that it is Fun and better than going to a movie and have popcorn with coke :P

Hi Mom, i exercise daily and i go to the gym for my program every mondays, wednesdays and fridays. i started this in january 2010. i want to lose weight and i am really determined to reach my goal. now i already lose weight and i am proud of it. i did so much to lose it. once i meet my desired weight. i will do my best to maintain it.

I try to excercise 30 min. or so a day as well. Some times I'll just go for walks around my neighborhood, and sometimes I'll incorporate the walk with my day (e.g. walk to the post office or the library or the local record store), and other times I like to dance for excercise! ^o^

I usually exercise everyday for 3 hours. completing my program in our own gym. This includes a 45min. non stop jogging on the treadmill, dumbbells and bench presses for an hour but it depends on how fast you can work on the program, then complete each day up to 250 sit ups.

Unless you count tottering along on a stick hun, my exercise regime is minimal. I do love swimming, however, and go when I can afford to.

I go for workouts four days a week especially in summers coz its too hot and it isn't recommended to cross our limits else my body end up loosing all the water.I try to be regular in winters though by playing some games.If you're really looking to loose your weight then you can have the juice of Bottle gourd in the early mornings alternate days on empty stomach---it helps you to get rid of extra fat you gained by mylotting .But i'm serious it does work and it doesn't have any side effects as your taking a vegetable .great day.

hi! I do exercises every day twice- once in the morning after I get up and once in the evening before i go to sleep, because exercises refresh me and make me feel stronger and healthier. I do exercises from more than 8 years every single day, since I went to the high-school!
