Legal Drinking Age

What do you feel the legal drinking age should be? 16? 18? 21? 25?
i think 18 is perfectly fine...

I honestly think the drinking age should be 25 when we are a lot more maturer.having the drinking age at 16 there would be a lot of deaths cos of drinking and driving. if the drinking age was lower then what it was now no one would do anything they would all be drinking and that wouldn't be setting an example for the little ones.

i would have to disagree with you there.. i think, and kind of know, that a LOT of the reason underage kid's drink is for the thrill... if the aspect of getting in trouble, or not getting caught or whatever it be were not there, it would turn off many kids... just from speaking with friends and others... from experience ya know?

I think it should be 16, at that age you should be smart enough to make deccissions and whatever you choose you should live with

hmm.. that is an interesting thought.. i personally believe that 16 may be a little too young just because there is still some developing going on in a lot of people.. actually it probably depends on the person, but yea i would agree that a lot of 16 year olds are mature enough to make that kind of decision, but some arent

i think 21 is an alright age...25 might even be better because most people 25 are out of college. 18 is deffinetly too young. some of my friends were 18 before graduation. you also have to remember, just because the legal drinking age is something it doesn't always mean people follow them. along with the drinking age you should educate young ones about the dangers of drinking as well.

I don't know about 18. I am not even sure about 21. I guess it depends on the maturity level of the person. When I was 18 my parents knew that I would drink at parties and never got angry with me as long as I called and didn't drive. But some kids tend to get stupid, actually some adults also get stupid, so I guess you can't just put it on the kids.

i think part of the reason they get so stupid and drive, is because they don't want their parents to know.. if it was legal, they wouldnt have to worry about their parents knowing.. and therefore could rely on them to help
