Are you an avid moviegoer? During my highschool days, I was interested to watch movies with my friends every weekend. I can't afford missing the latest and most talked about movies in town. As days rolled into years, I no longer find watching movies as pleasurable as browsing the net. Now, I prefer to stay at home with my PC where I could also look for links to some movies needed to watch.
As far as I can remember, the last movie I saw was "AVATAR". My friend convinced me to watch that great film for it is still more enjoyable to watch movies on widescreen.

Haha! I remember my auntie who told me that the last movie she watched was "JUDGE DREDD" which starred Sylvester Stallone. That was 2 decades ago, I guess.

The last film I watched was Solomon Kane I thought it was good but my partner who I went with thought it could have been better.
But it was nice to get out just me and my partner and have a break from the children.
We often go to the cinema now as at our local cinema on a Tuesday and Thursday it is what they call saver day and the tickets are half price.
The last children's film I watched was cloudy with a chance of meatballs and I would recommend it even my youngest who is three found it funny, again we only had to pay a pound each for that one as they do special deals on a Saturday and Sunday morning where you only per a pound per person to see certain films so this has enabled me to take my children to see films as well.

When I was a student before, I used to watch movies with my friends too. Now, I don't have more time or money to go to cinemas since I got married, I'm saving for the needs of my little boy.

Hi guys, my husband & I used to watch movies when we were still lovers way back then. Things changed when we got married because tickets in cinemas are highly-priced so, we prefer to watch DVDs at home and save the money for our baby's needs.

I last watched Crazyheart with Jeff Bridges because I was curious to see it. It was a good movie, but I found the premise a little bit unbelievable. He was yucky gross in the movie and I don't know why a hot young chick played by maggie gylenhall would go for him.

I love movies but I can't afford to go watch movies in theaters whenever a new movie is up. I think the last one I watched was with my mom. We saw "Taking of Pelham 1,2,3" because Denzel Washington is in it. He is my mom's favorite Hollywood actor. I'm looking forward to Toy Story 3 by July. That's the American release date. I hope it's the same here. What's also fun is that I think it's going to be 3D.

Students love to go to theaters with friends, I have been once he he. Students can save extra cash from the allowance given by their parents but when they come to know how hard it is to earn money, they'll spend less.

A couple of weekends ago, me and the kids watched Alice in Wonderland at the theater. The kids seemed to like it, but I didn't think it was that good. Movies here are a bit expensive. Plus the popcorn and the drinks, then it can really get expensive.
The last movie I saw at home was 'Meet the Morgans. It wasn't that great, but I liked Hugh Grant's one liners.

Hi eloveriz,
The last movie I watched in a theater is a local film, "I miss you like crazy". I'm sure you've heard it. I watched it with my boyfriend just last Monday, it's sort of our "date." I'm not fond of watching local films in cinemas, but John Lloyd and Bea are the only exceptions. Me and my bf loves them! Their movies are always great and a big hit.
For international movies, the last movie I saw was Avatar. Like you, I don't watch often in cinemas, but because of the advantages of technology, I just download it in the net, but Avatar is another exception. I've heard a lot of rave about this movie, and how it "must" be watched in 3d or at least in a big screen. So once again, I dragged my bf to the movie theater with me.

I wasn't able to watch that movie due to circumstances beyond control. I am a John Loyd-Bea fan eversince. This is the only movie I missed, I watched the previous ones. Got no choice now but to view it through the internet. Thanks for reminding me.

Yes, I will have to go too watch a movie, because the last one I watched was 2012...
I'm not sure which movie to go see though, because there are so many of them.
It is SO true that watching movies on widescreen, in a movie theater has just so much more the feeling of it, than what at home...

Exactly! There's something in movie theaters that attract people to go in, it's really fun to watch movies on big screen.

We do have a projector at home, but it doesn't have the same feeling, than at movie theaters. It has a quite much better ambiance, than just watching TV, but still not as good as in theaters.
Also eating popcorn in a movie theater is just so classic. At home it doesn't feel the same.
