I figured a lot of us are frustrated nowadays. Why not just let your frustrations out in here? Come on don't be afraid to say what's on your mind right now!!! Like for instance: I hate reality tv shows.. Why? Because they suck as entertainment!! It's mindless drivel being pumped into our minds so we'll be distracted to real world events taking place right in front of us!!
I hate the fact that every time a "new" movie comes out, it's just a remake of an old movie that some fool thought would be better because they have better special effects... Wait but the storyline gets sacrificed in order to get that perfect shot...
And I hate those leashes that parents put on their children!!! Oh man those things are despicable!! Like junior is a dog now. If he needs to be on a leash in the first place, it says something to me about home training. And how could your put your child on a leash in the first place? Now not only is your wild child still going to run out into the street but he will drag you along for the ride when the bus hits him...
I'm just beginning to rant!! Anyone else got something they hate? You got a gripe today let it be known!!! Spread some hate.. (And please let's keep it civil)...

Don't even get me started on Flavor Flav lol. That guy is a nutcase. I especially hate watching these celebrities and seeing how rich their lives are. Whatever happened to being humble? Who cares how many cars you have. All you need is one or two! I'm done for now. Thanks for the opportunity to vent. :D

1. Again another issue with the children. People who do not take care of their children should be shot. Im sorry but they did not ask to be born, and did not ask to be born to some slack parents either. If you don't want to take care of them find someone who will.

And number five!! Now don't even get me started on this one either!!! We live in a no pet apartment. Yet several of our neighbors own dogs. Why is it when i go out behind my car, I step in dog mess everyday? My neighbors walk down our parking lot with their mutts and let them drop their loads just anywhere, and don't clean it up. We live in a pet bathroom over here!!! I hate that!!!

I hate it when I read articles and letters from people who think it is all right if all the white people disappear because we are all humans, but if this tribe in South America, the African Americans are being reduced through abortion, this Indian tribe is dying of diseases, there is this big stink.
I also hate it when after our two adopted sons reached two, my husband got rid of all the baby furniture. We were on a budget and did not have a whole lot of money to buy new baby furniture so he effectively killed me adopting more or if there was a miracle of having more children.
At least our sons are having children. But I sure could have used at least five mire kids.

Wow. You know suspenseful my friend, I cannot relate to you on this one but I wasn't aware of such articles. I hate it that that type of attitude exists at all, from people of any race. I know we have had our differences but I never wanted you to disappear.
As far as the baby furniture goes, you have to understand the male psyche on keeping old things and compiling "junk." Not saying your baby furniture was junk but I know I try to keep the clutter down myself, and when I don't have a use for something (or can't see any foreseeable use) I may junk it too. It would be wise to make him understand the importance and possible future use of these things...

hi shamsta I am about half sick to my tummy because somone on mylot accused me without using my name of course that because I said some people would not dislike Obama if he was white that I meant that anyone who did not like Obama was racist, I never said that or meant that, now this person has made an ugly discussion about it and said other unkind things. the sad thing is this newer user hides behind the monitor and can just say anything she feels like and I must take it. I feel very upset and angry over this. After all anyone can say unkind things that they would not dare to your face., I do think we should quit this stuff as there are plenty of discussion topics that do not have to center on politics or bashing one party or the other. I hate anonymous finger pointing and do not do that to anyone myself. why cannot we all be respectful of each other.I hate political rantings and the unrest they spread on my lot and the name calling and the ugliness of it all. I know i should not answer any political discussion as you just get called nasty names. not worth it.,

Hatley, yes I looked at your profile to figure out if I knew you and no I am NOT following you but let me just clarify this and then the discussion is over about Obama. I NEVER accused you of such a thing and whoever said that I was accusing you was lying. I am glad I read this post bc I do agree with you that some people may like the president more if he was white. Some people are ignorant and cannot look past skin color. Everyone knows this. I never said that YOU made the comment that "anyone who does not like obama is racist". Again, people have misinformed you. You have gotten upset for nothing. Like I said before I do not know you and did not know that you made a comment about Obama. I hate that you are mad at me especially after the fact that someone has put you in a position to thnk you were being attacked by me. I did not announce the persons name bc it is my choice and apparently because I failed to do so some people took the opportunity to think that I was referring to them specifically. Again, I apologize that you are so upset. We are all entitled to opinions and your opinion was not one that I was referring to. And btw if I was referring to you then I would most certainly tell you now. Unfortunately some people wanted to drag innocent people into a discussion and make them think they were being attacked. I was not attacking you at all. I am sorry you were put through this, but if you want to continue to be angry with me that is your choice.

Yay, time to complain! First of all, the news in general is really getting on my nerves. Just too much of an emphasis on the negative parts of what is happening on in this world. Granted, that kind of has to be reported, but the media tends to downplay the good things to try and really enhance the doom and gloom. I am under the impressive that half of everything that we thinks is wrong is because of the over reporting and exaggeration of the news media.
Also, some of the cruel things that parents do to their children. It makes me wonder why they even bothered to have children to begin with. I would not trust these people to take care of a goldfish, much less another human being. Its too bad there is no way to license people to have children. The more I hear about about some of the absurdly cruel things that parents do, the more ashamed I am to be the same species as these people.

OK I already let it be known how I feel about cruelty to children so let's talk about the news. I hate the fact that the GOVERNMENT controlled media keeps trying to use these fear tactics to control us. If they continue to focus on the negative issues and stories, one may develop the idea that it is a very scary place we live in. With this fear they get us to go out and spend money on things we normally would not buy. It's a never ending cycle of consumption brought on by scare tactics through our media. It is obvious their is some other agenda in mind....

I too, hate those stupid 'reality' TV shows. They are only fuelled by underhandedness, winning at any cost, lying, cruelty and back stabbing. NOT the qualities that I wish to hear about or be influenced by on a daily basis. I could live my whole life without ever seeing another one, thanks.
Commercials drive me nuts, but thank goodness for my new PVR. Ahhh, silenced them finally.
I hate my current government and the US government for influencing my gov't in the negative way it has the last several years. If I wanted to live in the US I would already be there. I have always been a proud Canadian, but our recent gov't antics makes me ashamed.
LIARS is my biggest pet peeve. I absolutely hate liars. They are despicable.
I don't like being called derogatory childish, names, either. When someone stoops that low (grade school) I expect an admission of guilt and an apology. Making excuses just digs their hole of guilt deeper and all the harder to ever get out of. ADULTS don't behave that way, children do. I have gone to great pains to be respectful and I fully expect that same treatment in return.

I have many issues. Now this new healthcare bill has me concerned. My daughter had a leash for her son and we are all glad she did. I think if a child has the habit of running off a mother has to do what she has to do to keep him safe. I think if it is just out of laziness on the mother's behalf then it is rediculous. I hate yuppie types that do not understand what life is like for people who are depressed or have mental disorders and are not energetic and able to get around as readily as they do. I hate pet owners who get mad at their dogs for getting out in the street or something yet are not training them correctly or thinking when they go about disciplining them. I also hate the cutsie little petite women who look down their noses and that I see around that have no idea what life is like for someone on disability benefits but goes off about the slightest little enjustice on them! Let them live a day in others shoes. I have lots of person beefs that I am working on and won't go into here. But, thanks! I do feel alittle better.

Those same yuppie types you are speaking about also are running the government. Its no wonder they cannot relate to the common mans needs and issues. And they look down on the less fortunate like they are better than us. How can these devils be the ones in charge of running our country? How can they represent us? The thought of that actually boils my blood. I know the types you mean and they are sitting in the House of Congress passing bills that will effect all of us but only benefit a few.

I hate that the music is so loud in the movies, you can't hear what is being said, not that it's really worth hearing.
I hate that credit card companies charge usury.
I hate that so many think someone else should pay their way. Entitlement.
I hate that I now have to have a cable box in order to get the stations I used to get without a box.
I hate how poorly written the situation comedies are today.
I hate that the federal government is trying to take away all our rights and freedoms and we're letting them.
I hate looking at Nancy Pelosi and knowing that San Francisco will probably re-elect her.
I hate that dramas on television are so dark you can hardly see what's going on.
One thing I'm happy about, non of these things has any eternal value.

Great rant. I too can relate to a few of these things myself. I hate that people will sit around and complain about the government being unjust and, you're right, we let them take away our rights and freedoms a little more everyday. Our greatest hope is that none of these things have eternal value and the truth will one day be revealed.
Poorly written comedies? Poorly written everything. Long gone is the time of the truly funny shows anyway. Everything now is mindless "non reality" television. What really pisses me of is that as stupid as the shows have become there is always someone watching them. And they are usually right in our houses!!! My goodness, I love my family but if one of them turns on one of these stupid shows again I am going to flip out!!

OMG!!! If there is one thing I hate is cleaning up after other people. I can't stand a dirty house and while I wouldn't consider myself Obsessive Compulsive, I am a clean freak. This is why I don't do well with roommates or dirty girlfriends. Dirty dishes, when we have a dishwasher!?!? And even further, if you were gonna leave your plate in the sink at least run some water on that so it wont be caked up with hard spaghetti sauce or something just as disgusting. I mean talk about lazy... I HATE THAT!!!

Well, I don't exactly hate the situation I'm in, i know how i got myself here in the first place. But here goes:
1. I hate how i'm always broke. I've got a 5-digit salary but for some reason i'm living from paycheck to paycheck. It doesn't make sense. I'm forever paying for something and every payday when I get the chance to save some change, something ALWAYS ALWAYS happens. Someone gets sick, we run out of something, a charge from somewhere turns up. I feel like I'm being run into the ground, and i'm getting message form life that I'm not allowed to live freely, or that I'm not allowed to have any savings. I refuse to believe that but It's getting harder and harder each month.
2. I have how I feel pressured at work. I feel that so much is expected of me and i haven't even lived up to their expectations because of all the things that happening at the office. Can you blame your subordinates if they get sick? And there's so many things to fix in my new team, that I'm not able to turn my attention to the others.
That's just a few of my grips.. I don't feel all that well just yet. Maybe I'll do another one in a few so I can let this all out. Thanks for this though.

And thank you for the response. Lord knows I feel you on this one!! I am sure a lot of us have been feeling the pain of the recession right about now. i myself, am still recuperating from 2008's financial woes! Literally!! I think I am just getting to the point where things may get better and then BAM, life smacks you with some other problem, usually in the form of a bill..
I truly hope things get better for you, and for us all. It's like Chris Rock said: How many of you go to work just so you can afford to be broke? It's crazy nowadays and I am saying that from the point of view of one who has felt the pinch as well..
Needless to say, I hate that!

I found this post to try to defend myself to someone which is obvious from what I typed earlier, now it is my turn to rant!
I have been a Mylotter for 3 years now. I am also a member of other blogs and I must say that this site has to be the most troublesome. I have had great discussions and some not so great discussions on here like most everyone else. Today I have been referred to as a bully because I expressed my opinion about a political comment and did not mention names but some people took it upon themselves to jump to conclusions and get innocent people worked up saying I accused them of saying false things. Are people that sad in life that they choose to start trouble with total stranger for their own amusement. Now I certainly will not lose sleep over this issue but it really is sad that people accuse others of being childish and bashing others when they are the ones doing attacking.
From what I have gathered, this Hatley person was apparently told that I was bashing her over a comment she made that I had no clue about. Ironically it was along the same subject of the topic I started and now she is upset at me, a total stranger because she thinks I am bashing her. She is NOT the only one that was told that I was pointing fingers to. There was another mylotter that was apparently told the same thing and now the discussion has turned in to one huge mess because ONE person wanted to start trouble. They twisted my words around and accused me of attacking their friends when I was not attacking either party. How far will some people go for their own amusment?

Just to set the record straight...........both Hatley and Antiquelady saw themselves in your comments on you discussion, in that they recognized the similarity of their own previous comments in discussions to what you quoted in yours. NO ONE told them about your discussion, and NO ONE stirred them up. They drew their own conclusions and responded of their own volition, NOT AT THE prodding of someone else. Get your facts straight before you accuse.

OK. Don't know what's going on between you guys as I obviously missed that discussion. What I do know is every time I got involved or posted a political discussion up here in MyLot, it has ALWAYS sparked debate and tense feelings. I'd suggest you guys didn't take the discussions so serious and realize we all have different opinions with politics, as with any other subjects in life. No one is going to agree with everything you'd like them too because we are all from different situations in life. We were not all raised the same or nor do we all have the same financial status, ethnicity, or historical backgrounds. These differences might make us all prone to different opinion but it is also mete to remember it does not make any of us more or less "human." Our humanity is that which allows us to form our own opinions and to respect those of others.

Hi Shamsta. I haven't been on in a very long time and thought that I'd mark my comeback with response to your post.
I'm not going to say that I hate this person...but I'm telling you that this azz irritates the F! out of me. The office manager has a way with pissing people off in a round about way. Does he come out and say anything to you? Nooooo. He sends out an office MEMO!!! To everyone! I can't help but be sarcastic. I do try to tone it down when I talk to him... I really do cause I would like to keep my job and he will tell the project director (via office memo). If I'm on the work phone on a personal call he tells - office memo. So I use my cell (via bluetooth...just let your hair down and know one knows. I haven't been caught yet...I think) HERE'S THE JOKE!..I'VE SEEN HIM ON HIS PHONE AND ON FACEBOOK AND MSN MESSENGER. But what does he do when he sees one of us on it. Sends out an office memo. I'd sure like to kick him in his hip swinging azz. YES HE SWINGS HIS HIPS when he walks. He sooo bugs me. Then he doesn't give directions properly when assigning tasks so the work doesn't get done properly or in a timely fashion. Guess who gets in trouble. Not him. He has learned not to ask me to do anything cause he knows the response he will get. I bypass his backside all together. If have a question I go to the project director directly. If I need to be in the loop about something and he failed to tell me I let him know....via my own memo. OH and one last thing! I don't do math in my head. My dad can blink and have the answer...not me. The jackazz and I are trying to hammer out some numbers and he throws this number at me and I go for my calculator. He goes to me, "DIDN'T YOU GO TO SCHOOL?". I damn nearly took out my earrings and the vaseline from my purse and dealt with him. My co-workers like to joke and ask me where my boss is (He's not but you'd never know). You don't want to see the amount of neck rolling, cut eye and finger pointing that comes out when that joke surfaces. Those are fighting words.

This guy sounds like a real pain in the rear. If you like I can send some tough guys up your way to handle him for you. I hate that aspect of the "job." There is always that jerk of a boss, supervisor or manager who thinks they are God's gift to the office, mail room or french fries. And nine times out of ten the people working under this jerk all know how to do the job better than he does..
This guy has control issues or was probably a wimp in school and uses his position of authority at work as a crutch for his own miserable existence. Hips swinging too hard might be a she. No disrespect to anyone's preferences but he sounds like a real jerk. I'd hate to work with him, for him or under his supervision. This is why I loved working for myself, being the boss. I'd fire this guy for being a straight lame..

Yeah you can't win for losing. We need the job to survive yet when we go to work the job is killing us! Ironic isn't it. And now with the times like they are we all need the work don't we. I had a job two years ago that I absolutely began to hate. I quit and then this recession set in bad. I kind of wish I had kept the job and they wouldn't hire me back either.
Still I think it was for the best, and I don't regret leaving that job.
