Are you losing your hair? Have you heard of or tried Latisse?

It is shown on tv commercials to help make eyelashes thicker, longer, and fuller. I bought this product. The thing is I have a receding hair line. I forget what they call it with women, but I have a "V" shape in the center of my forehead. I have been using the Latisse on my eye lashes as well as my fading hair line. Guess what it is working! I am amazed that it really works on my lashes...but even more so that it is making my hair come back where I had none! I actually have new hair growing in where there was none! They say it takes 6 weeks or so. I have been using it for about that length of time or less....actually thinking about it ....I have been using it for about 3 weeks. I am simply amazed that I'm getting my "bangs" back. Dillards also has a product that is similar. I don't remember what they are calling it. As long as they have the supplies in stock they are selling them and giving one free with the purchase of another. It is around $50. here. Would you try this to grow your hair back? Would you try it to get longer, thicker, and fuller eye lashes? I did and I'm loving the results I have with it! Thank you in advance for responses.

That is a good idea, it just may be there as well. Good luck to you in finding it. On the box it says Lumigan ....Bimaltoprost eye drops for external use only. 300 ml per bottle. You put one drop on the brush eye liner for each eye. It is a 3ml bottle.

I'm sorry that you are losing your hair. For we women it's a harder thing to overcome. I don't think I can post the web address here so I'll add you as a friend and then PM you the addresses.

You are absolutely right gabs. I thought I was doomed to have less and less hair. When I would put on mascara I had a huge empty spot with no hair. Also in front where my bangs were suppose to be, I did not have them all the way across my forehead..just in the middle and a small amount. It has not been that long now and I finally have some hair all the way across my forehead. It is not thick yet but it is down to below my eye brows what has grown back out. I'm totally elated about it.

wow that is great. is there any research done on these products. and are these products approved by the government or any organisations. to me, loosing hair, the first thing i will do is to get a blood test . is hair loss due to hormonal unbalances, male or female balding. the hair loss , is it due to illnesses or medication or something else. as long as its hair loss and if the hair root is 'alive' the hair will grow back. that much i guess i know. however the hair loss and there is no more hair root in the shaft, then hair cannot grow back. then have to use other options like hair weaving or hair transplant that are costly. the other easier option for hair root that has lost its shaft is to go out to buy a half wig or full wig depending on the hair condition. some even use hair extension. its all up to the individuals. some just opted for a scarf. well each to her own. just make wise decisions. these are my opinions, moondancer.

Because of a medicine I was on I lost almost all of my hair. I looked like someone that had been having chemo treatments. It was so bad. My hair all together was not as thick as a small pencil in thickness. I was so upset and it all has not come back Now my hair when pulled together is about as thick as a pencil. But there are places that I had already lost my hair and that was in front what is referred to as "bangs". I just had a small amount in a "V" shape in the middle. Now because of using this I have new hair growth where there was none. It is made from natural herbs. I thought it was worth the risk so I would have my hair back. It worked for me and I'm so happy.

Yes, you all are very lucky. I had very thick beautiful long hair...now I have very thin beautiful long hair. I liked it better when it was thicker though. I'm not far from not having any hair at all on my head. Too close for comfort. lol

No way! Let that gal in the commercial do it. I am not into putting chemicals near any needed places on my body. Ain't goin' there. And if I did then what would Maybelline and all those mascara company making the thickening and lengthening mascaras do? Can't let them go out of business. That eyelasher grower stuff just sounds scarey to me.

I still use the mascara from them too. lol I just have more lashes now to make prettier. It is made from natural herbs. This is why I was not scared to use it.

I saw those commercials many times, then decided to order it. I was hoping it would work on my eye lashes. I had very thin ones and a bunch that were missing as well. Now they are fuller and I have more. I'm so happy. I will continue to use it until I have it all like I want it to be...that includes the hair on my head. lol

Hi moondancer, I would buy it for my lashers as they are not thick and love to have some for my hair, but I don't think they have anything like that here or I havn't seen any products of that nature. Tamara

Tamara can you not order things from the US to have it sent to you? I get other things from other countries that makes it cheaper for me to get it there instead of here. It works for me and I'm hoping others are able to try it and that it works for them too.

This is very interesting. I am old already and getting bald. I just use wig that is the same as my haircolor to cover baldness. Latisse? I hope I can buy it here in my homeland. Thank you for this wonderful information. Maybe having hair grow can still be a reality for me.
