How fast do you say sorry if you did something wrong?

Many people takes a lot of time and guts just to say sorry especially when they are in a higher position or older than the one they hurt. It's true that many of us have pride in our lives that we can't even say a single key word to fix a quarrel or restore relationships. Do you take long time to say sorry if you did something wrong?

I salute for that attitude. That is a very humbling one. I hope that all of the people in the world are like that. But of course many of us has their own issues that leads to pride and insecurity and makes a person so boastful not to say sorry for his mistakes.

I think you're right with the idea that if only those who hurt others are the only ones who should say sorry then most probably there would be no sorry word in this world today. I think it's a very important word to understand each other and at the same time to be a better person is to say sorry even though you are not the one who started the fight or even if you don't like to quarrel at all.

It's quite hard for me to make a first step and say sorry to somebody, especially when the person I've offended has also offended me too. Anyway, if I feel that I am the one who behaved incorrectly and wasn't right, I try to swallow my pride and apologize for what I've done.

yeah, pride really does get in the way when i try to apologize. for me it depends cuz it s hard to swallow one s pride and apologize. but sometimes i can just put my pride aside and apologize. it depends on the situation.

I think it's in every people's heart. Everyone has their own pride especially when we have done mistakes. But this pride will also lead us to a negative character and at the same time destroyed relationships. May we all overcome pride as we go on with our lives, I also believe that true great men are those who are humble.

ya i do say sorry when i feel tht the other person got hurted by my actions...even though my mistake is not thr i don't feel shy to say sorry...because ego shouldn't become a boundary in between relations

the moment i realize that i made something wrong then thats also the time i say sorry unless im not aware that what i did nor say was already wrong to other people. in my relationship once its me who made mistakes i always say sorry but if not then why should i say sorry as it will only give him a big head thinking its alright if he made mistakes many times. once is enough for me.

Hi,there.I usually say sorry at the moment I knew my mistake.Well,sometimes it's really difficult to do this.You know it's not so good to admit our mistake.But I just feel that if I don't say sorry on time,then I would feel more diffcult to say it out ,and it would compound the error in some cases.What worse,it may bring more injury both of us.
