for your next holiday, would you like to stay in a big, well-known, modern hotel or in an unknown farm? or perhaps in tents in an open plain? or where? and why? i would love to be on the backs of camels in a caravan. you get to see not many have seen and get to appreciate many have not. dear myLotters, what about You?

I booked a flight to Halifax and I did plan to explore Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. However the travel firm went out of business therefore they canceled my flight. So I booked a different flight. I have decided to go to Vancouver because it is a destination I have always dreamed of going to. I will be taking my toddler son and baby daughter. We will visit Vancouver, Vancouver Island and the Rocky Mountains very likely. The accommodation we will stay in will be in locally owned guest houses.

In Bulgaria I asked around in order to find a private room. I found one above a hairdressers. I really felt part of the friendly community there. The place was so charming and I caught a bus to the national park. I hope that you are having a lovely day.

For my next holiday - it would be a destination to the great Southland- Aussie. I would stay on a friend's house. Not much of an adventure on that but I would go around the local territory all alone and have a taste of adventure by myself.

This April, my friends, mostly the yuppies in our church, are going back to nature, out and away from the busy city. We're planning to go trekking and swimming in a not-so-commercialized-yet-soon-to-be tourist spot in our country. I can't wait!

Hi Tomi, This month of May my family will be going to Hong Kong, China for a 7-day-vacation. We chose Hong Kong because here in Asia, it is one of the most famous destinations and it's only about 2 hours air travel from my country. It's the first time for my kids to go out of the country, and they specifically picked HK because of Disneyland. Me, I want to see the famous Victoria Peak.

hello tom!...I miss myLot a lot...I was kind of busy doing some other tasks. Well, for my own choice of place to spend my holiday I would prefer it in the place where I was born, a part of the Philippine archipelago, a beautiful place. I want to embrace the green lands that this place possesses, to smell the fresh air and to feel the simplicity of the place. I want to be on top of the mountain so I can view the beautiful land downhill. I want to kiss my very old grand parents and listen their stories about their past experiences during world war2 and be at that old ancestral house that my great grand father have built many years ago. I am just a simple girl with simple hope that next holiday I would be able to visit the place of my old folks again.

hi mack! welcome back! it's one beautiful place, one beautiful archipelago, one beautiful country to be in - the mountain top, the green lands below, the fresh air... yes, that would be great to meet up, talk to and listen to your grandparents. i used to when mine were around. those wonderful stories could be good lessons for our lives. i get very excited about all these things. i'm sure you do. and you are very right too that all these simple pleasures of life are just as interesting and just as meaningful. you are very lucky. great mack. thank you for sharing. have an equally great day :)
