How often did you clean your refrigerator?

Hello everyone!
Just wonder when was the last time you clean your refrigerator?I clean my refrigerator once a week,sometimes we often forget that there are foods left and neglected for a week..The purpose of cleaning once a week is to check whether there are foods and condiments running of out time and its going to expire,I am so aware of those expiration date of the food in my fridge.I like my fridge having a fresh smell no smell of ruining food or anything.So I make it sure I can always check and cleans from the inner compartment to the freezer and have it clean in general.
How about you guys did you always check your refrigerator?How often did you clean your refrigerators?

Once in several months I wash the rafts. I usually don't buy food in big quantities so there's not so much to spoil. Or if there is, it's easy to see. Once a week is very often for me :lol

I live by my cousin now and he is actually for rent here and still hasn't buy a refrigerator, but maybe soon he will, because the weather is getting warmer and warmer

I clean my refrigerator once in every two weeks. I think that's not very often but I always maintain the cleanliness of our fridge. I always see to it that there are no leaks. I also see to it that all containers are tightly sealed. But I arrange all the contents in my fridge every week. I dont think cleaning the fridge is very fun to do so I always maintain cause I dont like to clean.

Yah depends on how you maintain cleanliness to your fridge,and how you gonna take care of it,Its good enough if hygiene is maintained inside and outside your refrigerator.Actually I also find that cleaning is not really fun I just asked someone to do either,but I have to check it out

Hi cloud,
cleaning fridge every week, and aware of expiry date of all food items in it! u r really great friend. I admire your this habit.
I never clean my fridge, my wife does, i don't know how frequently she does, but in last about 20 years only once or twice the fridge was found having too old items. I consider it satisfactory fridge cleaning.I appreciate her for her fridge cleaning.

H friend! It become a habit friend I just think its necessary to clean the fridge once a week to avoid from spoiling and having a fresh a refrigerator.
Wow your better half also having a good habit in fridge cleaning,and you have to really appreciate otherwise she would rather asked you to do the cleaning!

Yeah it should be once a week but just like you, I often forget to clean it. Sometimes, some vegetables and condiments cannot be already used because I haven't clean it for a while. And the smell, I hate it when I miss to clean it for a week.

I clean my refrigerator once a month in most cases. Although there are times that I may not be able to considering that I am quite busy. But for as long as I have the time, I usually defrost the refrigerator at the end of the month and clean it. I do not know if such schedule is good or whether we should clean it every week. But in my case, I find it sufficient.

Hi cloud, I think what you are doing is right. One needs to clean the refrigerator at least once in 2 weeks.I do so once a month, that is thorough cleaning, other than that I keep taking out shelves and cleaning it every now and then.In fact I have to clean my fridge thoroughly one of these days, may be tomorrow itself, thanks for reminding me ...have a great sunday

I clean and checked fridge as often as i can.
My kids had the habit of putting left over foods in the fridge,so,i always check my fridge for it.
And besides,i always cook our dog's food,so,i need to check my ref for any left over for our dog's consumption.

I'm a clean freak. I also cook for a living. I keep my kitchen at home like I would in a restaurant. And, I don't mean one of those restaurants some superstar chef has to go in and rescue. I pull everything out of my fridge once a week and clean the shelves. I also label and date my food (leftovers). I check to make sure nothing has expired. Then I put it back together. Once you get in the routine you'll see that not only do you not have to worry about food poisoning one of your friends, but you'll waste less food.

Wow such a good habit, I admire person who are clean freak,its good for our daily livings being concerned in cleanliness.I do the same once a week for me is best for fridge cleaning and make sure all things are in good condition inside the refrigerator.

Once a month most frequent will be twice a month, I seldom eat at home so I don't keep much things in my ref.just something to grab when home, like ice cream,milk,nuts or beverages.So I am not so afraid about food inside will get ruin or spoil.
But you have a good management of your home,its very good to know you can check everything on time,very good habit!

Can I help you clean your refrigerator? Where is your location? I am not in-charge of cleaning our refrigerator. But it is being clean by my wife every 2 weeks. What I am in-charge of cleaning our alkaline mineral pot, water purifier.

I clean my refrigerator every other 2 weeks or alittle shorter if i saw that its dirty already or the freezer accumulates thick ice already, this i don't like really because it consumes more electricity that's why i am forced to clean it already.

We usually clean the refrigerator as we need to. Usually about once a month. We keep a box of soda in it to keep it smelling fresh. We don't buy alot of food at one time so it doesn't have time to ruin. I figure there is too much food in there if any goes bad.

As far as I am concerned, I think I can not remember that the last time i clean my refrigerator. maybe it is about in last month. For me, i do not usually at home,so my refrigerator is always empty. I usually just clean my refigerator when I have a lot of time.
