Is the question whether or not one likes vegetarian food or non-vegetarian food better? Or is it more in regards to the lifestyle of vegetarianism or veganism? I personally, at this time, am not a vegetarian but I am continually in the process of weaning myself off of meat. I find that healthwise a vegetarian diet is superior, as well as from the environmental perspective. However, there are very good arguments from the other side as well. Not so much that vegetarianism is wrong or any worse then eating meat, but that in respect to community, that is, when someone is cooking a meal for you or for a group of people, and that meal contains meat, the right thing to do is to eat it, whether you call yourself a vegetarian or not. I heard it said from a friend of mine that "community overrides personal ethics," and while I definitely do not agree all encompassingly with this idea in all situations, in this case I believe it is right.
