sankethadiga Yes, completely agree with you darkness01. I too feel Spybot S&D is one of the best solutions for fixing Spyware/Malware. You can also try AVG Anti Spyware, although you can use it as a free tool with some limitations after 30 days, it's a good buy...

sankethadiga U can definitely give some light weight distributions like Vector Linux or XFCE a try. They are specifically meant to run old computers, and in an efficient way too.
