Absolutely not. But one of a new members just asked me whether he can earn $2000-$3000 every month, I then reply him it is even hard to earn few cents, and he told me that his referrals told him he can earn like $2000 every month...After he knew the truth, it seems that he had been disappeared from mylot...It seems that many people have been cheated by their referrals about the earnings....... How about you? What is your earning now? WHat did your referals tell you about mylot?? It seems that members are working harder but earning less,, what do you think???

The person who referred me to Mylot pretty much said we would earn one cent per post. She didn't lie to me about that. We do get paid roughly one cent per response if it is of good quality. The earning potential is very good at Mylot if you have alot of referrals who are actively working under you every day. I think I earned more when I first joined Mylot. My earnings fluctuate daily and I do not really know why. They must be going by the number of sentences we type and the number of lines it adds up to also. I really haven't pinpointed how Mylot adds up what we earned each day and for what exactly, yet!

You are correct in that each response has to be atleast four line before any credit is give. Be sure to express this when you are asking people to respond to your questions. Answers such as , you are right and things of that nature will not give you any credits. You have to know how to adlib when you respond.

What? Where..who is giving away $2000? I'm coming...LOL Trust people to lure you into anything and everything with their false promises...that is so pathetic! I've read here many a time that users have been luring referrals with such fake claims and it is not nice. Obviously the one who joins is not only gonna be disappointed but also bad mouth about mylot saying it doesn't pay at all (you know one thing leads to another!) I told friends and family about mylot only after I had been paid twice. I have 13 referrals but not one is active..hehe! That's ok I'd rather work on my own than lie and make them work, it will not help anyways. It is true that we are posting a lot but not much in earnings is coming our way.

I don't think it is a way to get rich but it is side money that I didn't have before. I have been here since the middle of December 2006. So far it is just something fun for me to make a little extra money and also new friends

Ouch, poor guy. I came to myLot because I LOVE Yahoo! 360* blog pages and it's fun doing the posts...but I also wanted to earn SOME money doing it. So far, I've been lazy. I've been with this thing for a month and have just now earned $5 to my credit...I've seen people in the 2000 post after being here for two weeks!

Im sure you could earn that possibly with the correct effort. Say you had 50k refferals or more that were actually very active on mylot, not the type that are here one week and gone the next. ALthough mylot only has 81,076 or sumthin liek that now, just imagine if you were the one who reffered them all. You woul dbe sittin pretty i'd say. Realistically no way though, i doubt the average joe could get a grand in a years span. I do think it is possible though if you had thousands of active refferals.

Me neither.I am not here for money.Infact i used to participate in this kind of non paying forum sites for the past two years or so.But when i learned that mylot pays you for posting stuffs and commenting i was floored. At first i laughed at this but now that they'd recruited(somebody who referred me)here,i want to be loyal to it.I also participate in other site where they pay a little lot more than this site(paidforum.net).But my heart wants to be here posting, smiling, laughing, replying, networking, making friends, growing and finally getting old.lol. And I wouldn't advice people who are here for money for a full time job here.

hi,friend, this site is better than so many sites,at least we are getting our hard earned money since 6 months. No body complaints on his site, but there are so many complaints on other sites like Dorm check..Wealth tool box... In case of referrals, yes you are right. Some members are too much exagerating the earnings to get referrals. This is a cheap technique.

Oh my that would be stupid if you ask me. It might be possible but it will require a lot of effort...but I doubt it will be possible. I would rather earn money from my real job right now, as mylot only provides additional income. $2,000 a month from mylot seem awful lots of money and none of us would achieve it. I am almost a month here and not even reaching $3 yet.

I suppose anyone could do this if they 1000 active referrals who worked hard. I was not told how much I could make I was just told I would make money and I would be paid each month. So far this is true. I make between $20-$40 each month. We are earning less because we are getting bigger. When people stop posting then we tend to earn more. Right now the population for MyLot id very high so we earn a little less per post.

Since I don't look upon Mylot as an earning site - unless you call making a few dimes or quarter for hours of posting 'earning' - I have not referred anyone to this site. Mylot is for the fun, and the exchange of ideas, and making cyberfriends all over the world. Earning... no, then you need to go to other programs, in my opinion. If new members are lured into Mylot with the promise of hundreds or thousands a month, then that is outrageous. Shame on those Mylot members!

when i was very new on this site i used to work hard to anyhow total up my earnings to $10. i also worked hard on completing my 100 posts first to get a star rating and then for 500 posts to be able to copy paste where required. but now i've slowed down to a great extent. i have started enjoying mylot more as i don't have to slog to achieve any targets. whenever i don't feel like sparing a time for mylot, i don't. its pretty sad to know how people cheat their own friends by telling them lies and misinforming them just to get referrals.

I have been here for 6 month, I have made about over 150.00 over the months, You can make money here. but not much. I never get referral, I never have too much trouble. I just like it here, I have made alot of friends from all over the world. I make about 30 to 35.00 a month. If I was on other stites I would probaly make more. but this is all I have time for. that is impossible to make that.

well, i never depend on mylot earnings for my living as i know that it won't be enough... no matter how hard you try and how much time you spend here, i think it is impossible to earn $2000-$3000 a month... i don't even earn that much from my proper job in a month... i only treat the earnings here as a bonus and not my main income... and i am here for the fun, enjoyment and knowledge... so i don't really care how much i earn as long as i earn something...

The practice of making outrageous claims to the earning potential used to be a very common one, and it was always frowned upon. There is no point in lying to someone in order to acquire to referrals because they are guaranteed to become disillusioned very quickly. It also harms the site by bringing it into disrepute.

Don't know how anyone would believe that we could make big money on a site like this. My earnings average about 50 dollars or so. Over the month I am making .022 cents a post so it is doable. Just takes time and perserverance and making 3 or more lines of response on topic every time. Some people just don't seem willing to put that effort into it. My one referral is doing ok and knows what kind of time it takes to build up the earnings. The other two I keep them in touch with what I am making and doing about 50 or more posts a day and so they know what they are getting themselves into if they want. Truth is always much better.

i think no one can earn 2000-3000$s in a month or so ever.Though exceptions are always there,so one who has a lot of persons working for him might attain that task.well a person should not tell a lie just to get referral as one day he will know the truth or he himself by his experience can learn that. well my good friend told me that it is a legitimate site to earn money.there are not many like it.so hearing this from him i just joined mylot. yes i too agree with you on the fact that members are working harder.i think mylot should look that all his members work regularly.noone should get lost from mylot.for that they should update earning system to make people earn more..a person cannot retire for working on mylot only as it will not be possible to earn a living. If i earn 150$s in a year i will be very happy.

My last pay out was about $12.00. That isn't nearly the amount I make on my other activities but the writing here is easy and I like getting paid more than fractions of pennies like alot of sites do. I might start adding links around places to see if I get a few referrals from passive things like banners and test links. I am not going to make promises of wealth because that is a silly thing to do.
