Ah, my friends, the day has finally dawned!
Ferrari's replacement for Michael Schumacher, Kimi Raikkonen finally started testing for his new team with the 2006 racer, Ferrari F248.
On a damp day at Vallelunga ( It was because bad weather was forecast for a week at Mugello that Ferrari shifted to Vallelunga Autodromo ) Kimi started acclamatising to the car, whilst his team mate Massa continued with the shake down of the new Ferrari F2007.
I finally hope a championship comes the Scuderia way with Kimi ( Schumi deserved the 2006 title though! )
With Engine Freeze and a single tyre supplier, the race certainly hots up, but Ferrari have a slight advantage considering their Engine Reliability ( Discounting the crucial Suzuka let down! ).
What do you think?
Good day.

The first race was great for Kimi and Ferrari but the race this past weekend wasn't so hot...although Kimi came in third behind Alonso and the brit....name escapes me. I have always been a fan of Kimi. My most favorite was Aryton Senna, then Hakinen and now Kimi......never lied Shumi except when he played charity football. I am hoping that this will be Kimi's year because I don't like either Alonso or Massa.

Hello, Thanks for posting on my discussion... Nice to be back, but I still have a few more exams to go.
Yes, Kimi had a great race at the opening Aussie GP, but I must say I thoroughly disappointed with the performance of the Ferraris at the moment... ( Raikkonen's race was compromised because there were concerns about his engine not holding up the race distance... But he must be happy to be crossing the line with 6 points in the bag. Afterall, Alonso hasn't showed much of his skill in anything but cruising to whatever position he can and staying there and collecting the points... It has worked in his favour twice already! )
But more than anybody else, It's the Brit who is making the airwaves... Lewis is the name, Lewis Hamilton... All of 21 and the last time people got the hint that something big had arrived was on August 23, 1991 when a gangly Schumacher made his sizzling debut for Jordan... I feel this fellow has great potential to win a championship very early in his career...
Yes, by the way, why is it that you don't like Michael? I simply adore him... My idol.
Thanks for replying again, have a nice day!

Well, that is something else. I think that is so great for them.
