Yes I absolutely love the show! Criss Angel is absolutely awesome and he is such a sweetheart! I know people who know him and who work for him. When he comes back to Vegas I will meet him!

I have no idea but I wish I know! I saw his oasis escape, it was pretty amazing! And sawing himself in half w/out a box! I just don't get it!

I watch Criss Angel as often as possible. He is an excellent representation of the "new wave" magician. He has a very unique and modern style that really comes across well with the "younger" generation. He is definately a far cry from the David Copperfield days! I am a professional magican working in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Although nothing I do is quite on the scale of a top run TV show like Mindfreak, the concepts are all very similiar. I do not, however, do any of the "stunts" that seem to be invading magic lately. If you want to learn how the tricks are done, i'm afraid you've got a tough road ahead! Magicians don't like to just simply reveal their stock and trade. However, if you are interested in learning to BECOME a magician, or even just to learn a few tricks to perform for friends or at work, most magicians are more than willing to share. I recommend contacting your local magic shop via the internet or the yellow pages and asking for lessons. Eventually you could work up to Criss Angel's stuff! Also, there are videos for sale (http://www.penguinmagic.com/crissangel.php) that explain how he does the tricks. There are only two released so far. One DVD explains the levitation trick and the other explains the quarter in the diet coke can. Both are excellent, but as a magician I'd recommend other things for a person just starting out.

I have seen him before. He was on tonight. I don't think he's very good because I have a feeling most of his stuff is done with video editing. Some of his stuff may be real illusion work-- but some of it obviously is not. I like David Blaine better.

Yeah, I've wondered about stuff like that. Then there's all those people watching and I've watched their faces/reactions. I don't think there's anyway he could get all of them involved. I haven't seen anything with David Blaine, heard of him though. Have to start watching out for stuff with him. Thanks!
