How to save one's own life if one fall in the water with his car?

As we all know,there are a lot of car accidents happening everyday.Many die because of these accidents.If one drives his or her car into the river,then he or she is in great danger and may lose his or her life.So I am thinking about if there is any effective way to let someone save his own life in this situation?Like to escape from the car rapidly and so on.
So what is your opinion?

first thing to do is call 911 or any emergency number for quicker response. if its not that deep then maybe i will go ahead bring stone with me to break those mirror but if its too deep then i will not risk my own life and perhaps just wait for rescuer. if the person tried to save his own life then he can just open the mirror window since i know he cant open the car door coz of the strong water pressure outside though he must not be on panic and tried his best to open the window nor break the mirror instead to get out.

I agree with you.The situation under water is complicated and we must calm down to work out an optimum plan in order to save our own lives.

one thing is get out as soon as it hit the water, if not then you want to try to get your window down and out, or break it. you might have to get the back where the water havent gotten to yet and try to get out of window or back window.
they also got this little tool you can keep in your car to break the window as well.

If you lock in side the car then try to come out from the car first then swim. Or if you can not swim then take something from your car and hold on it then may be someone will see you and save you. But please be relax otherwise you can not alive.

Yes,it is reasonable.But most time if people are in the water and they can't swim,they will panic.If they are not able to calm down,they are less likely to do things that are necessary to save their lives.
