I plan on starting a vegetable garden this year. I have already started the tomatoes and peppers inside. So far only my tomatoes have already started to sprout. Do peppers take longer to start than tomatoes? I don't want to have to buy plants from the store that are already started because of the cost. How can I make my peppers grow? It's been just over a week so far.

Be patient! They should sprout soon. The peppers actually should take about the same time to come up, usually faster than tomatoes. If you still have the seed packet you might look it should tell you how long it takes them to germinate.
