Probably the most significant question we can ask ourselves is what is the most important thing in life. The question has far reaching implications in that the answers (or lack of them) that we arrive at can determine the course of the rest of our lives.

To answer ur question i think the most important thing in life is love. Love is what keeps me alive. I love the feeling that im being loved by those people whos dear to me. I guess without love i wont be able to survive all the stress and tension in life. Its actually what keeps me going and what makes me enjoy my life because i know theres lots of people who truly love me and i want to give my love to them in return.
I always think being love and giving love in return makes my life great and wonderful. When your full of love everything around u become perfect. And most of all for me god is love.

hi angelblue,
I still don't have a specific answer in my mind on what is the most important thing in life. But as of now, all I can think of is that the most important thing in life is love. Love that can be felt from the people around you. As for me, it is the one that makes a person lives. Loves give his life directions. For example, a man married love his wife and will do everything to make his wife happy. And when they got children, the man will work harder to suffice the need of his children also. And what motivates him to work very hard is the love for his family. As of now, I am working hard for my family. We are not that rich and my parents are so old now. I do not wish them to do heavy household chores anymore that is why I want to work hard. I want them to experience life in which they don't have to work hard. When we were still little, they work hard for us, and now that we are big enough, I want us -- their children to work hard for them. I have this thinking because I am motivated by my love for my family. My boyfriend is very far from me. We have misunderstanding and quarrels sometimes but we do not break. It is because we love each other and we are patient for each other. So, I think, it is love that makes the world go round.

I believe that faith and family are the most important things in life. Yes, I realize that I mentioned two things, but they are so closely interrelated to me that you simply cannot have one without the other. Furthermore, if one of these areas is suffering, then the other is. Is it possible to be faithful while you are struggling with family relationships? Yes, it is but faith plays a large role in repairing and maintaining those relationships. On the other hand, it is possible to have strong family relationships while struggling with faith, but it is those family relationships that will help you grow stronger in your faith if you will allow them.
That's my 2 cents. Great discussion!
