i'm missing my morning coffee, and will be half asleep at work.
cause my partner inconsideratly used the last of the fresh water to put in his windscreen wiper water. i for got to get water yesterday when i was out, and thought there was enough left that i would be right till this morning. but after going hunting for the bottle and finding it empty, was not happy. my partner was the one who stuffed up the water out of the tap, by putting cholorine in the tanks a while back. so the water couldn't be used once settled, and it still would taste yuk a while back. i've not bothered to check it lately but discovered this morning i wouldn't be using water out the tanks for drinking cause it's dirty.
so now i have to miss my coffee, until after work. then i'll get my son ready for school and go round to my parents place and have breakfast and coffee there. plus take my water bottles.
any one else have these problems.

I can't understand why your partner didn't use the tank water for his windscreen wipers. That seems rather thoughtless to me. Anyway you will enjoy your coffee more, when you finally get it.

i was not happy about it. but the person in question went and put cholrine in the water tanks a while back, cause some of the water we got was not the best. so he did that and now you can't drink any of the water. even if i have the water delivered, and it's drinking water i'm still not wanting to touch it.
we're out on a farm as well.

That is too bad. I guess your partner will blame you saying that it was you who forgot the water. But why would your partner use the drinking water for his car? That is daft. He should have used the yukky water from the tap that he ruined for drinking. It won't matter for the windows on the car. In fact, it might clean them better.

I would be very angry if my husband was to use the last of my drinking water for his windshield wipers. In fact, I don't know if he would live to see the end of the day if he did something like that.
Now, I've never been in a situation like that because we have fairly clean tap water and I have a very nice filter pitcher that I use to get all of the impurities out of it, so the worst case scenario for me is that I have to wait a few minutes to have suitable drinking water.

I am one with you. I really cannot function well if I don't have my caffeine fix for the day. I drink 3 cups in the morning. I really don't care if it's bad for the health or not. I drink coffee at work. But I believe I am much more of a water person. I drink lots of water. Especially now that it's really hot here in the Philippines. I'm still not used to it. My body is still tuned to the weather back in NJ.

i can only have 2 cups pf coffee a day, or i end up feeling sick from it. suits me fine. i have one before work and then another when i get home in the mornings then i'm all set for the day. i also usually drink water for the rest of the day unless i need a pick me up and that ends up being a can of mother energy drink.

I dont have the problem with water that you do, although I cant function without caffeine first thing in the morning, I even buy lots of red-bull incase I havent got time to make coffee, that way I still get my energy boost first thing!

Hi weasel,
Not sure what a windscreen wiper is but is it something he could have used the tap water for? It's pretty typical. People don't always think of others before themselves. Starting the day without coffee is something I have done and not to fond of. Most in my home have gotten to be considerate of that little fact. If my daughter is going to be needing a ride to school then it is good to allow enough time for mom to have her coffee and wake up a bit rather than wait until 5 mins before she has to be there and think I'm going to hop out of bed and run. I do. I have because her being there on time is important but i'm a bear. Its not pretty.

I just use water out of the tap. I was thinking recently of getting a Britta water filter but not sure I will. I would go to my favorite Latte place and get me some coffee on the way to work. Figure it as a special time for just you. I love Moxie Java here. Have been wanting to try Dunkin' Donut's coffee but haven't yet.

I only drink water from the tap. I use that water for coffee, cooking and drinking. I´m glad I don´t have to use tank, put chlorine or do any other job than to open the faucet.
But I don´t fully wake up until I´ve had my first morning coffe. I´d be very mad if I had an impediment for that.
Take care!

Hi Wease,
Cheer up. Don't let that ruin your morning. you can drop by a convenient store and have one. then call that person and remind him/her that you feel bad about his being so inconsiderate. that you will not let him/her do it again. i will be frank enough too tell him/her. i hate it! people like them must be taught a lesson. they need to replace it and not do it again.

for me, i need coffee before i start my day. this might be crazy but i drink my coffee cold when hot water is not around. i just use lukewarm to warm water then i mix it with cold one in the fridge then add ice. it really works especially when you work round the clock

In the summer of 2008 I think,I was employed as a cleaner in the local wash factory. One day,I dunno why,I just forgot my daily dose coffee and when I got at work,I was like a zombie..No reactions, slow with half-closed eyes,no emotions..I was a walking sleeper :).
