hello dear friends, mylotters, dear bhai/s,sister/s, Yes,my kids were talking, having conversation inside our house thru computer chatting. Gosh,i don't know what's going on(funny grrrr) My daughter is laughing in her room, and my youngest son is angry just a steps away from me. I asked my son why he is angry, then he say's his sister is annoying him. Annoying?...how?,i asked him how?,"your sister is in her room and you are in the living room"? My son replied,"we are talking here in facebook"(nyayyyy)can't help myself laughing then. Talking thru facebook using computer and internet, and, they're both inside our house Oh my,and, they're even fighting huh?! Well,i wonder how many mylotters do same thing like this,or had any experience like this, having conversation via internet inside their house(sounds funny but it's true) Share your experience dear friends...and have a good day everyone

Hi jaiho, it must be sounding quite funny but yes these days kids are used to more of such funny developments sitting beside and talking through chatting, you can say this is something similar to that, but this time not using the computer but a mobile phone, sometimes when the lecture is boring i start to text message my friends in the same room. .. it is pretty funny, the professor is going on with the lecture and with more than 75 percent of the class feeling sleepy, this is the best option lol! yeah we fidget with our phones when we feel sleepy listening to some lecture and so that we don't doze off in the professor's face we take out our cell phones and start fidgeting with it :D (of course now the ones sitting right in front of the professor can't do that and neither do they feel much sleepy) .. it is similar to chatting to someone who is quite close to you like your children chatting online, it would make sense if the two are far apart but no lets chat while we are very close to each other.

hello voldrox, Actually,my kids first had this kind of conversation even if they're inside home. They keep texting each other using their mobile phones. But this chatting in facebook is new to me,new to know that,it's their way of fighting Well,at least, less physical hurts (hehehe)but makes me angry coz,the youngest is screaming beside me,the family computer is set up in the living room and i am watching some movies (love story and i am getting emotional then hahahaha) I wish you did not send the message to your professor (nyayyy...)

Zomg, I'm exactly like your son and daughter. We have a wifi at home. We have our own rooms at the second floor of the house. And everytime we see each other online on facebook, we greet each other through it. My dad even has his own version though. My dad is on his 60's and he doesn't like going online, everytime he needs us, he'll just grab his cellphone and call us even though we're on the same roof. Sounds funny but it's true xD

@jaiho no problem. I can relate a lot that's why I didn't hesitate to reply @mne what you said is true. I'm scared for my little daughter's generation. If she embraces technology too much, she might not have her REAL social life.

@mne, I don't think facebook and real world will give kids confusions. They just enjoy playing in there. Although i admit that,it gives them problem with studies, becoz, sometimes, they forget their homeworks once they're infront of computers. @chie, Kids actually learn so much from computers and this advance technology. The advantage and disadvantage is there, but,we cannot stop this technology anymore. And,we can imagine what will be the next genre will be facing off, this is the new world then,i am trying to adopt, not totally happy, but at needs to accept, coz, this is reality.

this is funny jaiho. imagine that, they are under the same roof at the same time. well, i can also imagine me talking with my colleagues in the office. we talk/chat on computers because sometimes, we have to tell secrets and we have to use instant messages. well, we cannot do that here in the house. good thing we only have one laptop.

hello, my dear readers,I wanted to share one of my experiences with you....I was sitting in my bedroom and reading a a comic when my brother just came complained me that my cousin who had just came from Delhi is making a fun out of him.Well it was rather impossible as my cousin was with my sister in the drawing room, doing something on her laptop and my brother was in my room, using the internet on our desktop.I asked him "HOW???".He replied that both of them were chatting in G mail being in the same house!!!! It was really funny for me,but indeed real.I wonder the number of people sitting in the same house and chatting on the internet............

Hi, jaiho2009. Yes this is possible that this can happen. Especially if, each person has a way to connect to the Internet by any means of communication. I have not had this happen in my house yet. We have only one computer that is set up. But my husband sometimes calls the house phone from his cell phone. He would be right in the house with me and he would dial our house number from his cell phone. He does this when he was sick and could not get out of the bed. He needed me to come and do something for him. And he also does this to get my attention for me to come to him so that he can show me some affection. He makes me smile when he calls me from his cell phone.

hello cream, At least, there's always advantages with this technology. And,that's so sweet of showing affection...making a call from our love ones (just a rom away so sweeeeeet!!) And for my kids who use net for chatting, fighting in silence. And,no yelling too,(heheeh) kids can fight thru chatting less physical hurts too(uhmn, esp with my boys) Thanks for your response dear and have a good day always

hello cupkitties, Oh yes dear, now i realized how smart my naughty kids huh(lolz) They manage to fight and annoy each other beyond my knowledge. And,less noise,no physical hurting, but the youngest was too annoyed becoz the 2 older siblings were trying to get him hanged with his games. Then, you have to wait for the time your kids will learn games in facebook dear. Maybe, that would make them less fight.

It has happened to me too when I was living with my family. When we realized that we were talking through the computer even if we were in different rooms in the same house I would always say "hey, isn't this a little stupid! Move your lazy bum and come here!"

It is look like to call the family member through mobile phone. Perhaps in day ahead we the people use mobile phone to talk with the person who is in another room of same house.

hello Alex, At least,it is better than shouting when we look for someone around the house. Or would search the whole yard, calling thru phones can help us to find someone we're looking for even just at home. Esp with kids, when they don't like to attend parent's calling, they pretend to be sleeping. But,when seeing them online, they can't deny,or unless they will off their mobiles Thanks for your response and have a good day always

Lol, haha... I guess technology has changed everything. Your kids case was an example how people have used technology differently today. I myself had experienced this chatting in the same roof thing. Once me and my friends were trying to talk to each other about privates stuffs but there are other guys in the room as well (they're my friends as well). So, to solve this, we chat through the msn pretending like we're busy working. In the end the other guys watched TV and we had about half hour for the chat. It was a strange experience though but I really enjoyed it!

hello NoSides, That is one good thing with the net,see how you manage to talk secretly with your friend, right in front of other friends (lolzz). I can guess about the excitement too,how you tried to act normally,as if nothings "other business" going on.(felt exited that someone/friend might caught hahaha) Thanks for sharing this nice experience, and have a good day always

this is how advance technology has become nowadays... i don't know whether it is a good thing or not... but i just feel that the internet has taken away personal relationship between people a lot... now we just want to communicate with each other virtually... i feel that it is such a pity as we are a social being and we need to interact with people personally rather than virtually... take care and have a nice day...

hello ling, There is always good and bad sides of everything. Internet and this technology give us advantages and disadvantages. It is how we are going to use it,abusive or not. I don't think, personal chatting and virtual differs a lot. The only difference is,in virtual chatting,we cannot touch the person, but the emotions and feelings still the same. In real life and virtual world, same thing is,having conversation with a liar or not. We cannot even determine if we are talking to a true friend in real life, same with virtual. Thanks for your response and have a good day always

Hi dear, This the true face of our next generation. They are sitting in different rooms and using computer to chat with each other. Really funny dear, they are using the advantage of technology. They can quarrel without knowing by their mother because both are sitting in different rooms. Let them enjoy. At my home there is only one computer and there is fight going on in between them for using the computer. Younger is too small (getting three in next month) and can’t understand much but yesterday he could replay his favourite song and proudly told me that I played the song again (without your help). Huh this is their (new generation’s) world.

So funny to think,my daughter's keep sending message to his brother in facebook, and that make his brother hanged(the game he is playing got hanged when his sister send too many messages, and that makes his brother angry...uhmnn,good way of fighting hahaha) Your youngest must be so cute dear,i miss my kids when they're still toddlers too. And i can imagine how you were having fun time with your youngest, small kids smiles are the sweetest...and i miss it now...uhmnn,missing a baby (hehehe) Thanks for your comment dear and have a good day always

Yes, even my kids doing that things chatting talking thru internet. Most of the time they were spending their mins. chatting in facebook. And even the small kids are doing such kind of communication as long as they know how to read and operate the computer. This kind of communication addicted all teenagers and youngs even though elders because one time I was walking along the roadside i heared a group of middle aged men talking about farmville in facebook.
