How do you handle Stress?

You are missing half of your life if you haven't got any stress in your life....
Stress is always with us... at home, and mostly at work...
We sometimes are great actors and actresses, for we hide our problems within our work place in order for us to be productive at work and make sure no one will get affected on it...
And during your break time, or after work, that is the time that we will burst out...
How do you handle them?...
Some would just take a stick of Cigar...
Some would like to punch someone... that's awful...
Some would just reward theirselves by treating theirself in a restaurant or buy something at the mall....
Release that stress and try to overcome it... ;)

hi brynnereson we all get stress everyday but we do not have to'let it
get to us at all. Stress is hard on us diabetics as it will shoot up your b lood sugar as bad as eating a whole lot of sugar.so we learn ways to combat stress.Our diabetes educator told us a really good way. you pretend you walk in a large bubble that cannot be penetrated by stress.so you just go on about your life as if mr. stress never existed. It cannot
penetrate your tough impenetrable bubble.he he.

it reminds me then of an invisible bubble on you making distance with one another wherein giving the authority for you to get close... but in a stress scenario.. you must get away with... some people cannot handle it properly... thanks for sharing Hatley... ;)

wow, really? well, tend to eat much, that makes me happy somehow. i don't know... but yes, i really eat. i sometimes told myself i will get diabetes soon, but hopefully not. as of now, there are 3ways fo me to handle stress:
1.eat
2.window shopping
3.go to park with my son and let him play

Yes i balance my stress..listening melodious musiq, practising my yoga, playing violen, yes infact i take chocolates it helps to make my mood refreshing..so i balance my stress though its unavoidable.

Well I have a lot of stressful issues to deal with but to spite those issues I'm still a fairly steady and even tempered individual, thats not to say I dont feel like punching a wall sometimes but the point is I never would do that, I dont deal with my stress by expressing extreme fits of anger its just not the way I handle things besides that would only elevate the stress levels even more.
Instead I tend to get quiet and keep to myself and not be bothered, or I listen to music or play with my pet cat and maybe watch some TV to take my mind off whatever's making me stressed, or better yet try and find a solution to the stressful situation or issue. and believe me I've been through some doozies, so I guess that in itself says somthing about the kind of person I'm, meaning how you deal with things says a lot about the kind of person you are. are you the kind of person who buckles or becomes angry under stress or pressure or are you the kind of person who gets through it by dusting yourself off and keep on moving, I keep on moving and dealing its definitely hard sometimes but thats life.

It is odd. Most times I handle stress extremely well. I am a single parent with 2 teenagers,a mortgage, and 2 jobs! lol. But, when something triggers real big stress it affects my gums. I found this out about 15.5 years ago when my 2 year old daughter had to be in isolation in the hospital. I also had a 2 month old at home. I slept at the hospital and my husband stayed with the baby. I thought i had a wicked toothache - or multiple ones - but the dentist said nothing was wrong - but my gums were inflamed - He said sometimes it is due to high stress.
Since then, I have had this happen 2 more times. Now I dont run to the dentist, I try to relax and take some pain killers until it passes. It usually takes a week at least.
Warm baths, low light,candles,comfort foods, friends and family, and funny movies are reccommended to get through some stressful times.

I handle stress in just trying to take a deep breathe and not get overwhelmed and in a panic. I have a tendancy to overwhelm myself really easily so my biggest thing is just trying to handle one thing at a time and stepping back and accessing everything and saying “okay, it’s not a big deal, I can handle it” and to unwind I like to take baths and lose myself in a book. I’m a big reader so it’s super relaxing and a destresser for me to just pick up a great book.

when I am stressed from work, I usually take a day or two off just to breathe and to change scenery. i think it is very important that we take rest days and just block everything out, this would keep us from going insane. haha.

Hi there, i'm just used to listen music, playing game, watching movies ,eating snacks , hanging out, playing sport with my friends. That's many ways to maintain our stress. Just don't let stresses handle our mind for a long time, so immediately put it out. Have a nice day

i am always got stress. because of my school schedule and also i have a lots of affiliates online so it so difficult to have a rest hour on my situation so i always got stress. it so difficult to handle stress the only way to prevent stress is to rest in a long time. take rest time always

Yes, stress will always be there but we can always lessen this.. Its the way how we look at life that affect our mood and our day as well..
I handle stress in various ways.. First is through my ipod.. I love music so much that is why I always have my i pod with me and when I am stressed I just listen to my music then everything will be good already, Second, is through watching movies.. I am a moviegoer that is why if I am stress I would just watch a movie and I will be calm again.. Last but not the least is hanging out with my friends, I love my friends so much and they never fail to make my day that is why by hanging out with them I forgot my problems already and I am stress free.
I guess bottom line is that you just need to focus on the things that you love and like and by doing these things you will be able to remove the stress. Enjoy Life! be happy! :)

when i'm stress out i usually cry out loud. i shout with my heart's content what i feel inside. but by doing so i would find a place where no one sees me or i cry to the person close to me all the things that causes stress. afterwards i would shout what i want to do, like to eat and recall my favorite joke. after doing so, i would come up of a list that i would like do when i'm away or after accomplishing the tasks that stresses me. then i would treat myself with the food i crave a lot.

When I'm stressed due to many ways, may it be emotional, physical , I usually go out with my friends and unwind. Talk, laugh with me.
Or if I am just alone, I just cry sometimes to let go of everthing bad like being reprimanded by my boss.
Or sometimes I listen to disco music.

Easier said than done, isn't it? :) I think generally when we are in stressful situations, we are kind of pinned down. We cant really escape it on the spot. At such times, it does get to me, and I do bawl out. But at other times, when it is a prolonged kind of stuff, I tend to develop plans and dreams for example what I would like at the time of retirement, or what sort of designs I can stitch on cushion covers, or stuff like that. :) Of course, when I am not in office or in any environment when it would look, my first stress busting way would be to sing aloud. :)

I do Gym make myself tired and the good thing i have more nice body then before and make me happy,then i go club cause i like to dance and hear hard music that make me less stress,or i might go to the beach or do climb mountain stay at hill my better place to lost stress:)

I handle my Stress of course by lending it to our God. God is the source of all solutions to our problems. I always start praying to God when i am experiencing some stress.
Secondly, I make myself in the point of relaxing, hanging out with my friends, even if it will sacrifice my grade at school.
I don't know because, for me i will not sacrifice my health just for the study.
I can study anytime when i am at good condition.
When your stress try eating your favorite foods, all your favorite thing to do that will make you enjoy your life.
And when the time your stress is release there you can continue your work
