We are very close, talk to each other every day. He will be turning 26 this weekend, and i have no idea what to get him :(
Additional details: he works a lot, he spends a lot of time on Internet, so he's always online. He is a guy with money that has everything he wants... that why's this is so hard. Does anyone have any idea?

Why not give him the gift of a special day? Check the news papers for shows or places that are having things he likes. Or how about a silly day? Take him to the
Zoo or some place he would never think to go himself. How about cooking a meal or going to a restaurant that is new. Tell him that he is one of your best friends and want to give him a special birthday. You don't say if you are a man or a woman so the wording has to be careful. It is easier if you are a woman to tell him how much you care but if your a man just say some thing like OK Buddy, this is a day for you.

see there are many things but what he loves it is important
just as if he loves to hear music then u can give him a ipod
if he loves to make a site then u can give him a domain name
i think u must be internet friends
u must take him for a long ride

Good morning~ Try to think about what kinds of things your friend likes. And try to get him off that computer! LOL!
Personally, I like "doing" gifts. You could take him to the aquarium or to the art museum. You could gift him a gift certificate to go golfing (but only if he likes to golf). I like gifts that let you DO something. :) Restaurant gift certificates are also nice.
I took my husband to a nice lunch for his birthday. I took him to Red Lobster, which he loves! It's expensive; so to make it somewhat more reasonable, we went to lunch instead of dinner. (Be sure to call ahead and find out what time lunch is over so you get there in time for lunch.) He also wanted to see Alice in Wonderland. So, I took him; but I surprised him by taking him to see it in 3-D! He just loved it! He loves movies, so I also subscribed to Netflix. Movie gift cards are also very nice (if he likes going to the movies).
Oh, another idea is a concert! Does he like music? Be sure to clear the date with him first (without telling him why you're asking, of course); and buy him concert tickets! That's a very cool gift! I got that idea from a friend of mine who liked to do that.
Think about possibly getting your friend some kind of "doing" gift so he can keep on celebrating his birthday for a long time and have something fun to look forward to!
I hope I've triggered some kind of fun idea in your own mind!
Wish you well! Tell your friend we said Happy Birthday! And let us know what you decide! We'll be curious to hear!
Have a great day!

First and foremost you have to know what is it that appeals to your friend, for example if your friend likes tshirts then you should look for one that he might like.Try to understand her or his personality to match the kind of gift that you want to give. It will give us satisfaction if our friend appreciate the kind of gift that your going to give her or him ;)

If he's rich then just give him a do-it-yourself gift. He'll appreciate it more. Ask yourself what you can do or where you're good at. If you can stitch then give him a cross stitch of an image. You know what i mean..
