Do you know anyone who

suffers from insomnia? Do you? How do they/you deal with it. I can fall asleep fine. It's staying asleep that is the problem. It is very frustrating. I do try and stay in bed. But ultimately I find myself on Facebook or Mylot for a while before returning to bed.

Yep...me. I never seem to get enough sleep. Sometimes I have a hard time falling asleep, other times I wake up and my mind starts to race. When that happens I can almost never get back to sleep. I have to say that it finally caught up with me a few weeks ago. My body kept feeling drained and I couldn't function at all. At least not after it hit anyway. It was such a weird feeling to feel like that. I'm trying to make myself sleep more as I don't like being like that. It's kind of tough though, especially since my husband broke his toe. But still, I'm trying to make up for it when I can as I never want to go through that ever again. Happy mylotting!

I used to in my teens. I'd go to bed at 9 or 10 and just lie there for hours, not feeling at all tired. Most nights I'd get up and take some Tylenol PM, but it still wouldn't work. I wouldn't end up falling asleep until like 3 or 4 in the morning, then I'd have a heck of a time getting up for school. I'd never fall asleep during school or anything... but no matter how tired I was, I'd deal with the same exact thing the next night.. and every night. I found it a blessing in my early 20's. I could go out to the clubs with my friends and not get home till 3am and still be able to get up for work the next day. Somewhere along the way I finally got on a decent sleep schedule, although I'm still not a morning person! I just hate waking up.

i suffered insomnia before and its not that easy coz there comes a time that ic ant sleep for 2 to 3 days straight. till i cant take it anymore and so my family realized it so they brought me to the hospital and i took medicine for me to sleep but it didnt affect me so they give me a large dosage. it took me 1 week in the hospital and i only go out when i already have a good sleep. and it also took me how many years before i go to normal day to day life coz its easy for me to feel sleepy no matter where i am, they said its due to the effect of the large dosage of medicine they gave me before though right now i can sleep better now as long as i want. my insomnia already become worst to the point that i already have hallucination that triggers my parents to bring me to hospital.

I have insomnia. Lately i've been addicted posting here on mylot. Even now that i'm at work i'm still posting. Lol. I know some meditation routines that works on me to make me sleep.

i'm experiencing it now. but the hardest part of it is i'm pregnant. you know what insomnia is easy to dealt with it's a matter of changing your sleeping habit. try not to sleep one evening and then for sure you'll sleep early the next day but of course do it on week end so it won't affect your work

This is one of the really bad things about having a laptop. When I can't sleep, the computer comes to bed with me. I will often play a mindless game such as Bingo until I get sleepy. Warm tea often helps as well. I will pour a cup from my jug of sweet tea in the fridge and warm it in the microwave. Reading often helps, but nothing too complicated.

My sister also suffers from insomnia.She tries many ways to improve her sleep such as doing sports every day and paying more attentiong on the diet(keep away from acrid food, cold drink);taking hot bath and reading before going to bed.If all above can't do the job she will listen soft music and use aromatic oil which can more or less takes her to sleep.You just can't stay asleep so you can ask for aromatic oil and be relax,which sometimes can lead a goog result.

i do suffer insomnia. i usually drink milk to help sleep. sometimes i read books. or play facebook and mylot.
