During the colder winter months, I switch my facial and body creams to oil-based products. I also find it works best to make sure that my body keeps warm despite the really cold weather. For my body, I use this product:
My skin gets easily dry during the winter times. I tried the famous brand’s winter edition lotion but to no avail, I still end up having dry, flaky skin before the day ends. After lots of research ...

Hi bikky! Yes it can make our skin dry during these cold winter months. I, for having sensitive skin, had to always consult a dermatologist (a skin specialist doctor) before using any kind of moisturizer or anything on my skin especially on my face because I would end up having rashes or sore skin if I buy just anything in the stores. Nowadays, I use Cetaphil as a cleanser, it's very mild and gentle to my face and Nivea "soft" moisturizer which helps keep my face moisturized all day. :) For the whole body, I use E45 lotion which is also good for sensitive skin and keeps you well-moisturized.

Depends on the area of the body. There are different ones for face, than hands, etc. A good one for the hands is Moisture therapy hand cream. Its available through Avon and works great.

When I moved to New Mexico I developed really dry skin. In New York I had the smoothiest skin now I have to lotion my body from head to toe each and everyday. I have tried numerous types but the only one that seems to do the trick id Dove's Cream Oil. Its the best cream for me on the market. Good luck in obtaining smooth moisturizing skin.

It still depends because sometimes our skin chooses a brand that its compatible with. But as for my experience,I use to have flaky skin and my mom sent me St. Ives Collagen Lotion. It's really hydrating and was able to solve my problem. Hope it can solve yours too. Happy blogging! :)
