Do you barter for a better price?

I don't like bartering. I usually just pay the price quoted. But I know that you can save a lot if you do. My father once came with me when I needed a new washing machine AND spin-dryer. He saved me a few hundreds by negotiating a better deal for buying two machines together.
Do you do that? What is the biggest saving you ever made?

hello there taraelocin,i'm not really good in bartering but my older sister is the best. She's really good at it the fact that she sometimes saves almost 50% of the exact amount thus giving her chance to shop for more....So everytime i planned to buy something,i always take her with me as my negotiator as i know i will really gonna get a good bargain....

It's useful to know someone who is good in doing it. You can save a lot of money!
